William and three of his men chase after Gavin. The rest attempt to flank him and box him in.
Bloody hell.....
Intimidate/persuade crew to set sail for Shola to deliver me there. If that fails drain one of the sailors and set the boat on course using a spell. Threaten to kill the rest if they don't get me to Shola.
If all of that fails, jump into the water and using a chunk of my own energy cast a spell to swim fast towards shore outside Polca.
[4vs1] While Gavin runs towards the smallest ship he can find, William and his men rush towards him. However, they are far behind, and the attempt to flank the mage suddenly fails when one of the Crimson Guards trips on the corpse of the unconscious peasant and falls into the sea. Two men jump in after him to get him out, but all three of them sink because of the armor. The other soldiers sent to flank Gavin start getting out of their armor to save the three idiots.
[4] Terrified by Gavin's magic, the crew starts working instantly. [6] They were apparently ready to leave when the mage arrived, so there is no delay. Sadly for them, another ship [1] full of armed and mean-looking men starts following them, determined to catch the heretic. [5] However, Gavin's ship is much faster and they manage to escape without any problem.
[6] The journey to Shola is quick and uneventful - the crewmembers, who are all fishermen, appear to be spineless peasants who only want to get out of this alive. Atleast, that's what Gavin thought; but on the last day of the journey, he wakes up inside a dinghy, with one day's worth of food, his clothes, and not a single penny. Apparently, the fishermen found some sort of courage (maybe they thought Gavin would kill them when they arrived at Shola). Thankfully for the mage, they left him within sight of the city.
Gavin is now in Shola, without any money or ressources, but alive.
