At Gavin's Meeting...

Terryn rubbed at his temples, and shook his head clear. "Interesting. Oswald, you feeling faint?" he hissed, trying to remain unheard. The man beside him gave a short nod. "Interesting..."

The Hedge Knight frowned, as the mention of being unarmed was made. It was either that, or laugh. Did this fool really think anyone would exit the town without protection? With the recent raids? This man must have had some faith in his...abilities, to be sure.
Or he was in league with some of the bandits. Terryn had seen his fair share of "magic" tricks before, played up by street urchins wanderers alike. He had never seen anything quite like this, though. It was worth getting to the bottom too.

Terryn tapped Oswald on the shoulder, and then began to slip through the crowd. He had spotted William on the other side of the clearing, attempting to get the priest's attention. It would be best to remain unseen for the moment, he'd speak with the man in private, after the crowd had dispersed and the Lonemine Lord had had his fill.

-Terryn and some of his men surreptitiously follows Gavin/The Preacher back to whatever tavern he is staying in.

Sometime Later...

"Damn..." Terryn muttered. "Well, so much for that. New plan."

-Terryn seeks out a suitable abandoned dock-side warehouse. He has the regiment of thugs lay in waiting surrounding it. He then goes to meet with the Guard Captain, with the following story: First, Terryn apologizes for having left without finishing the job. Second, he explains that his men have been following the Captain only to ensure that he had not fallen in league with William. Finally, he explains that he wishes to help in breaking Polca free of the Lonemine Lord's grip, and that the Captain should come with him to discuss things privately. The captain may bring some trusted guards, if he feels safer that way. Then Terryn leads the Captain to the warehouse (wherein his own regiment is waiting). Once the Captain is inside, the Thug Regiment (if I still have them helping me out) will close in on the warehouse to aid the Thornbred in killing/capturing the Guard Captain. (This may all be rolled in one go, I guess)

Ienden drops to his knees, breathing heavily for a moment...
"That did not feel like some divine blessing at all, it felt more like weathering a draining storm in the end. As if something has been sucked from me here." whispered Ienden just loud enough so the people nearest to him could hear it. The egocentrical prophet was already 'humbly' asking for gifts of gold.

Ienden slowly rose from the ground, with help of someone else. Then he looked around to the faces of those that did not participate. Only then did his attention go to those that fainted. Grabbing his backpack, he moves to those that seem in a bad condition and starts checking them. Those that just need an uplifter, get a sniff of some herbal concoction that wakes them up and calms them. Those that need more care, get that instead.

It is clear for most people that look, that Ienden knows what he is doing. He also points to a few bystanders to assist him with a casual but firm tone of voice that make clear that he simply expects them to cooperate as long as people are feeling unwell and need care.

At the Clearing((Magic Show))
"I'll gladly donate 1 primat, to your cause, Sir...And if I can suggest something? I would like that you kept the people from exiting the city for this, the bandits might harm your congregation or you...I could find a building for you to use or something or let you use a park."

Donate .1 ducats to preacher((Gavin)) from the treasury.

William's Study:
Most of the papers are tedious reports about various things, like treasury allotments for the new Polcan Guard or the Grain Farm that's being built outside of town.

A few have foreign writing on them, runes for lack of a better word.

A book bristling with paper bookmarks, catches Eurika's eye.
The Purge is it's title.
And underneath that are the words; The Vadud Line.

At the clearing:
Three men, wearing thick red coats and shining steel breastplates assist without being need to be told.
Someone taps Ienden on the shoulder rather hard. Once, twice, three times.
"Is everyone going to be okay?"

Laythe's Room:
"Huh...so i'm guessing you'll say no if I asked you in or out for a drink or two?"

Eurika looks at the book. She carefully opens the cover and turns the pages to a bookmark.

"Aside for the fact that I just don't like drinking alcohol anymore? No, I wouldn't go out for that reason. Anything else you wanted to talk about then or was that all?"

William's Study:

Laythe's room:
William sighs.
"I have a feeling this marriage is going to be incredibly boring and end with one of us dead."

"No I have nothing else to talk about. Do you?

"Well, if the only activities you can seemingly think of involve alcohol, I'm not surprised. But anyway, you have things to do, so I'll let you get on with whatever you had planned. See you later then William."

William's Office:
"It's not the only thing I can think of, it's just the only thing I can think of that wouldn't offend if I suggested."

"Goodbye Laythe."

William stood up and walked out the door, nodding to both guards as he did so.

'Out of context... doesn't make sense at all.'

Eurika flipped to another page.

William arranges a meeting with the Old Lord. And purchases a high quality gem for .1d or .2d for Eurika to enchant. William also raises another PG regiment and sets them to guarding the walls as well.

Still confused, Euri flips over to another bookmark.

At the clearing:
Three men, wearing thick red coats and shining steel breastplates assist without being need to be told.
Someone taps Ienden on the shoulder rather hard. Once, twice, three times.
"Is everyone going to be okay?"

Ienden works with one woman who looks rather pale, one of the last still lying on the ground. Without even looking over his shoulder, his attention firmly on the lady, he answers the person that tapped him on the shoulder.
"Most people will be okay, they just need rest and a good meal now. Not too sure about her though, she seems rather pale and drained. She might have had something prior to this incident, causing her to react more strongly to it. But I will do all I can to help her. Although it would probably be better for her if she could be transported to a good bed instead of the forest floor."
Some words are almost a mumbling as he rummages through his collection of medicine and tools looking for what he needs.

Only after he is done, does Ienden look up to see who he actually talked to. His ear quickly discerns the right voice amidst the people around him, soon to be followed by the owner's face.
