Eheheh, no i think you'll have to poach Valikdu's edition for that particular version of the rainbow factory.

I've been watching this with some interest, as it seems to be the branch of the original mod that is most relevant to my interests. Hell, you might have convinced me to play with a tileset for the first time in Luna knows how long. Keep it up. :))

It is on the horizon, but i don't have a set date atm. the next "arc" will be unicorn couture, some new cloth types (gold silk was mentioned in the show)
Definately need to be able to encrust clothes with gems if it isn't already possible.

But anyhoo, back to magic, what would you like to see? I experimented a bit with giving unicorns some spells outright, but that ended up quite overpowered. I could use vaporstone to grant interactions, but there's no good way to show what pony has what spell active, and any body changing will change the colors and cutie marks, which is not really an option.

Well, that's not such a problem for most of players, but... In new version number keys don't work in Fortress mode, but in Adventure mode everything is okay. For me, it's a very big problem, because my cursor keys are broken. Is there any way to fix that?

what? eugh.. I really thought the adventure mode keys would take precedence in that tbh... uh.. im not sure exactly how to get them back to numpad since it technically already says that adventure mode movement is controlled by numpad, but if you replace the interface.txt file with one from a non-modded DF, that will definately fix it.

Well this is a a situation I've never been in before.
I've offended my own Pony race with my trade offer.  Prepared Hen Egg Meals are fine to trade in a barrel but if you try to trade them as loose items the trader will belittle your "primitive race", mourn the "poor creature" and storm off in a huff.

I wonder, could there be long-term repercussions for offending your own race in this (very silly) manner?

whoops, that's a slightly annoying unintended consequence of not having the [USE_ANIMAL_PRODUCT] tag...
I have an idea to bypass it, but if I can't i guess I'll just put meat back on the menu, as it is we're already missing out on eggs and wool.

hmmm, nope, even after removing [IMPLIES_ANIMAL_KILL] to the egg materials they still don't like buying sandwiches, think I'm going to have to reinstate [USES_ANIMAL_PRODUCTS]

I seem to be having a problem making leather for strange moods, I have plenty of unrotten hides in a stockpile right next to the tanner's shop but the sop never seems to start the "Tan hides" job.
I lost a few ponies to insanity due to this, and the traders also never bring any leather. Is there a way to fix this?

Aaand that's another nail in the coffin for the non-animal product using ponies :P
The implications of  that change had far greater repercussions than I thought it would.

I'll throw together a fix for that later today.. and I'll even throw in a cheat reaction to make leather so people can survive without having to regen. I believe the current ponies actually have the tan_hide skill disabled... Griffons use leather tho if you can manage to trade with them before the guy goes insane.

Thanks for the heads up tho, I'll get right on fixing this stuff :P
