How do I make expediion leader USE his office?

The bastard has an office. he is exempt from any work, so he will not be caught by liaison in the middle of something.
And guess what? he is having a meeting with Mountain Halls East Indian Trading Company representative near a cage full of turkey poultry and puppies (which is also a zoo :))
How do I make him use his office and stop embarrassing himself? Should I burrow him in it?

My offices tend to be where ever i can throw them in the meantime.  so on a ledge overlooking a huge precipice, or in the middle of the dining room, or surrounded by temporary workshops.  If I was a dwarf and it was my office it is just about the last place in the world I would want to conduct any business...

But yeah burrow him.  Make him suffer.

Well, what does his office show up as on his character screen? If the zoo in question is a lot nicer than his office, that might explain it.

Still though, so long as a dwarf has an office designated, they should use it by default. Well, unless he was on break and the liasion followed him there.

with 14 poults in that cage it might be more valueble then his modest office, but his office is in a quiet nice place...

He was not on break. he deliberately went to the cage after he finished dragging stuff to the trade depot (btw, why a hell he was doing that if he had ALL jobs forbidden?)

burrow doesn't even always help. Made a nice burrow in his office and he just wen and held the meeting in the dining hall. I have about giving up on making him have the meeting in the office, but I still burrow him so he'll finish the discussion a bit faster.

Why do you want him to meet in his office so badly? RP flavor? My meetings usually take place in a mine or construction site.

IIRC Take Item to Trade Depot (As well as harvesting plants and recovering injured dwarves) is not a labor you can toggle. Could be wrong, though.

Recover injured is a labor you can toggle. Non farmers harvesting plants can only be turned off through the 'o'rders screen. I know of no way to turn off the 'take items to depot' labor.

recovering wouded can be toggled at least with therapist, (o)rders to all dwarfs (h)arvest to toggle that.

Offices are so stuffy!  Take a break from all that chair and desk stuff.  A glorious zoo of 14 baby birds tittering around one small cage, now that's classy!

If you really want to hold secret meetings to exploit the labor of laborers, you don't hold those meetings in front of the non-nobles.
