Hi,

MY game of LCS crashed, and now when I try to load the save it crashes immediately!

I've uploaded the save here , does anyone know why this could be? I think it would be good if the game maintained two saves (main save and backup) so this sort of thing is recoverable.

The only thing wrong with your save that I can see is that it ends too early, i.e. a bunch of data is not written in it. Why the game crashed while writing it I can't tell.

Well, if the error is in the save itself, just remove the "save" file in your LCS folder, save will be removed, but game should work again, dont know any other workarounds, except for redownloading.

To avoid crashing your car you need points in the driving skill. There are two choices in your background you can pick to improve your driving skill (they involve stealing cars). You could also try going to the college for driver's ed classes. Always try to drive a sports car, as that gives you a +3 bonus to driving.

Well, we are actually talking about GAME crashes, not car crashes. :S But i dont really know, i could've misreaded too. But try and read the posts first, please.

I haven't looked at the save, but if it it's incomplete, that is, missing data, then it makes perfect sense for the game to crash when attempting to load it.  It's a bad save and if the code doesn't catch that, it crashes.  I'm betting it'll work fine if you pitch the bad save.  You'll lose the save data, but the game should work.

Hint: If you still have hope of fixing the save, don't delete it.  Just move it out of the LCS folder.
