Can Forgotten Beasts fall asleep?

...apparantly they can.

Was this little Jim just tired, exhausted from the syndrom a fellow forgotten creature unleashed on him(I had 3 together in the caverns, two posionous vapours and one deadly dust) or is this an effect of the syndrome?

It's remarkebly tricky to screenshot someone sleeping but I somehow succeeded;

..now, as I cannot determine wether this worm was the cause of instant total necrosis on my bait animals and quick death for a deadly dust loris, I'm about to either have a hell of a fight or, if I'm lucky, I'll get him to drop before he ever wakes up!
