You know, I just realized that we don't have a general RTD talk thread here.

Things like interest checks, local GM announcements, etc. The Roller's Block thread is rather different, and rarely checked by the rank and file players, not to mention rarely posted in.

No, I don't want to make an interest check here. I just had a thought about a neat game, and suddenly realized that if someone were to try and see if there would be interest in an RTD game, he'd have nowhere to post about it where potential players would be able to read it.

Honestly, I just use Roller's Block for that kind of stuff. Maybe it's not exactly what the thread was created for, but it's a lot of what the thread actually is, so it all works out. In particular, as far as interest checks go I know that if I post the rules/concept in there and solicit ideas I can get a good approximation of the amount and type of interest from the response it gets; the really good ideas get people asking for a pre-in, in my experience. Maybe it's not checked by the average player (though I doubt that somewhat) but there's enough active people watching it for my purposes.

Considering this keeps on dying, what would people thing of setting up a joint library management account, with the password shared amongst a lot of trustworthy bay12'ers. That will make the administration much more bearable and prevents this thing from dying constantly..

I know it's against forum regulations, but I think we can make a good case with Toady.

(Apologies for the necro. It probably doesn't matter so much since it's a stickied thread and I have something to say, but still.)

Wasn't Tiruin going to make a new version of this? If so, it would be nice to post it fairly soon, since the RTDL&HoF is fairly useful.

If that's not happening, I don't mind maintaining it.
