The full wiki is viewable offline this way, it is a copy of the wiki made on 4 may 2008.
The wiki is compressed into a .zip file, to around 250 megs, if you extract the wiki it will consist of roughly 600-700 megabytes.
If there are any problems, comments or anything, please say so in this tread.

I am sorry to say that I have been having problems with my internet connection (being my parents) but I will seed for the whole day today  
Please seed yourself if you can. (once downloaded off course XD)

I did it with a website track copier, I let out any movies and files to keep the file size low so that's all information your getting.
After downloading the whole site I just compressed it thouroughly (that is probably spelled wrong XD)and used Azureus to make a torrent file of it.

It was made because I couldnt find a way to download it otherwise myself  

I might just upload it somewhere, but I cant find the right site (we all hate megaupload and rapidshare XD)

So, question, did the wiki change enough to make a new backup of it?

Might I suggest breaking it up into parts and putting it on MediaFire?  It only allows 100 MB per file, but I haven't seen any complaints directed towards it, so it seems pretty good.

I really dislike the idea of breaking a file up in multiple parts, I have had a few cases in which they worked perfectly before but after upload/download it would not work anymore.
Also it makes people NEED a program like winrar or 7-zip (last one is a recommendation  .
So thanks a lot for the idea, but I am more searching for somewhere to put it on instantly.

Does anyone know btw when there will be a new DF version out? or is it brought out as soon as finished? ^^

I really appreciate this, especially since the Wiki is down at the moment. Thanks for putting this together. Will be handy to stick on a thumb drive for when I have to travel.
