...a werecavy be, if they are possible...
Let see here...mrmm, cavy... cavycavycavy... Ah! Yes, I have at least one therianthrope of the cavy-variety, in stock on my little island.
Dubbed one "Omud Ringpad the Umbral Fern" she was born in the year 684 and... hmrph. Never died? How is it that a fine example of a dwarven werelizard died of old age at 168, while this human is still kicking (and biting) at the ripe ol' age of 1,916?
Maybe their age freezes at whatever its at once they are infected; if they are within a certain species-defined range a random number is occasionally cast to see if they croak. Transform before you're in that range and you never run the chance of old age death. That makes a bit of sense considering they fully regenerated from transformations; perhaps they automatically regenerate in accordance with their starting age. Then again, if that were true, we should see them only regenerate to the state of their infection. No legs at infection means you only get to go for walkies at the full moon. At least, from an intuitive perspective; not exactly helpful in this place.
Perhaps they are merely immune to the old-age-death rng while transformed and that merely ups the odds that they don't croak, leading to a longer life on average. They still age, but less rapidly sort of. There's a wonderful image in my mind now of some saggy old werewolf laughably gumming away at some dwarf, to the dwarf's mild irritation.
Feh, perhaps the dwarf's old age death was merely a bug.
What? Omud-who? Oh, right!
During her incredibly long life, she racked up 30 notable kills and 392 other kills.
Also, I forgot to mention that Omud (like many others) profaned the temple of the god she led the worship of, at the time she was leading. That god was, as always, "Eve Furnacesizzles" the human male shaped god of volcanoes.
