Legends Mode : Export All (including all maps)
« on: March 16, 2012, 11:06:09 am »

Not that these ever get read, but...

I'm begging for a command in Legends to spit out everything in one go, preferably into a subfolder of the save itself.
It's so easy to program, and would make life happier when browsing worldgens.

ISn't that what an Xml deump does. I'm pretty sure it's already done.

There's also a program to read them all

Ninja'd revision -
You mean, you just want a button to spit out all the detailed maps all at once, then?  You might want to make that a little more clear, then.  There's nothing in your title or OP that specifies maps, rather than the actual legends data.

Personally, I like [DF] because after climbing the damned learning cliff, I'm too elitist to consider not liking it.

Yes, exactly.
"Export All"
As in, export everything that can be exported from legends.
As in, all the maps, too.

For the sake of Isoworld and Legends Viewer particularly, a single option to dump everything that can be exported into, say "region1-exports" in the main directory would be awesome.

Please do this - it would make using DF to create world-scale stories so much less painful.

5 year necro...
Dfhack provides a solution these days.
Vanilla Legends is still dumping XML then maps one at a time.

"exportlegends all", I think (while Legends Mode is open).

It's OK, we're into mummification in the Suggestions forum. This kind of adds new info (if only to point out a workaround until it becomes a feature).
