So i have a dwarf who was possessed and well, he is sketching a picture of a forest. What does it mean? Like, wood?

He needs logs.  He probably needs other items too, but sketching a forest means he needs logs.

I've never seen a moody dwarf require a very specific kind of wood.  Make sure that he can reach the logs you have.  Check to see if there are any locked doors, broken stairs, or workshops build in such a way that they block a door.

Can you upload screenshots of the workshop and wood stockpiles?

I don't see any path from the surface to the lower level.  Are there stairs somewhere off-screen or covered up or something?

The staircase unfortunately is just 1 tile off the screen to the left from what I can tell, so from those screenshots it's impossible to tell if they're broken or not. They'd be in the middle of that 4-tile hallway by my count if they're present. You can tell where it is by using the flowing water tiles on the lower level to tell where the brook is, then using that as a point of reference on the upper level.

Anyway, assuming that the staircase is present and functional, make sure that that wood isn't forbidden. I'd be surprised if it was, so my guess is that the staircase isn't present and functional.

Have you designated any burrows?
I don't remember if strange mooders grab stuff from outside their burrows or not...

No burrows. Cause, my carpenters can grab the wood, but the one guy couldn't, it was really weird.

Download DFHack and use "showmood"

That'll tell you exactly what he needs.

For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

What they sketch seems to be random (well random from the needs they have), sometimes they will sketch wood 5 times then sketch whatever else they need. Have you sat over him using q for a bit and let him sketch out things repeatedly?
