Vampires blames....

So, a guy is found dead in my hospital.  Next to him, lying on a bed with shattered bones is my fort's token vampire.  Token vampire sees the dead body, and of course, blames another guy for the murder.  Uh huh.  Then I notice, my doctor blames the same guy.  Turns out my vampire witnessed another vampire kill a guy.

Long story short, both vampires have become bunkmates in the hospital and my Hammerer gets happy thoughts for enforcing justice.

I know I didn't.  At first.

Oh but the second vampire killed my best weaponsmith/armorsmith/blacksmith.  Too many eggs in one basket, perhaps, but he'll pay dearly for this.

I remember one time a known vampire blamed a bloodless corpse on a chicken, needless to say i was amused enough to agree with him.

Using large scale windows in every bedroom, leading to one room with 1-more vamps watching, couldn't THEY watch for other vampires?

Yes.  Ironically, a vampire chained at the center of a fort could serve as your best vampire defense.
