INITIATIVE

Bulldog: 71 (Counter)

Jack wakes up. (Agentorangesoda, hard event=5: 1) It looks like its time to go work at the factory again... (Dermonster, difficult event=4: 5) Food stores seem to be low. It looks like the city will run out of food within a month. (lawastooshort, Difficult event=4: 5) Jack gets Warts yet again! you'd think he would learn, considering he's written a book on it and all. He checks to see if he has any wart remover left (Bulldog, hard event=5: 6) He does! The wart remover guarantees that he will never get warts again! (Caellath, hard event=5: 5) Lovecraftian horrors attack the city! Many people are killed, including Jack's parents! He goes into mild depression. (Cerapa, difficult event=4: 1) Because of this depression, Jack does nothing to fix the city. Others will probably get it done anyway... However, L. J. Decides she finally wants to hook up! Their first date will happen at the end of the month.

TEAM SUCCESS: 37 points
TEAM FAILURE: 34 points



NOTES:
*L. J. Wronchford is due in 13 turns.
*Jack has a favor to call in with his boss. (Sleeper for team success, 4+3)

All toddler to preschool shows come to life and begin terrorcuddling people.

People, no matter how pious they are, start to randomly explode in a shower of gore and entrails, providing both a plague and gruesome meals to the remaining citizens who are left with no food and do not want to starve. Because of these deep mental traumas, insanity runs rampant.

Hm...I guess that is right. The city must be pretty cheerful at the moment, with all the starvation, death, disease and things-which-should-not-be roaming the streets. Also, on the bright side, even if team success wins, we may have a shot of leaving Jack in the crappiest of crapsack worlds. I'll try to give it my all.

This is the strangest round I've ever read.

You can choose to hook up with your love-interest while Lovecraftian horrors plague the city, a black hole threatens  the whole galaxy and even with the loss of one's parents, life still goes on as normal. Like nothing happened.

Still, kudos to the guy who decided to remove his warts to look good.
