Seems like most people are ready to go. Tiruin is still poking at that raider and Drago is crafting, but other then that it seems like everyone is just waiting to go.

Auto: OFF
>Initiate idle communication with the raider, ask how he is feeling.

New Guy has a point. But I believe in kindness. Especially the Sincere variety.

You watch the raider shovel...what is that? Peaches? Canned food all looks the same after a while...into his mouth. Maldevious pokes his head in and shouts, "Ready to go yet?"

"Soon." You shout over your shoulder without taking your eyes off the raider.

"Ok!" He yells back and walks off.

You look back toward the raider and scratch your chin thoughtfully.

"How are you feeling?"

He glances at you  for a moment but keeps eating.

"Any thoughts on that whole 'not shooting us anymore' thing?"

He doesn't even look up this time.

You click your tongue thoughtfully, "Yeah, thats what I figured."

Maldevious sticks his head in again. "Howsabout now?"

"Soon."

You crouch down next to the raider and look at him intently.

"Do you understand anything I'm saying?"

He hands you the empty can and lays back on the bed, grimacing slightly as he does so before tucking his arms behind his head and sneering at you.

"Yeah," You mutter, looking at the empty can, "Thats food well spent."

"Howsabout now?"

Goddamnit.

Spoiler: NG (click to show/hide)

> Head to the Barracks, ask Tiruin about the guy, and if he said anything.

> Interrogate patient if Tiruin didn't find anything about him. Tell him 'I'm in a bad mood right now, and unlike your friend here, I will not hesitate to beat you up into a bloody pulp.'

You walk to the barracks and find tiruin staring ruefully at an empty can.

"Any luck?"

He glances at you darkly and shakes his head. You look down at the raider, who seems to have made himself quite comfortable on the bed.

"'I'm in a bad mood right now," You say, cracking your knuckles "and unlike your friend here, I will not hesitate to beat you up into a bloody pulp.'"

He narrows his eyes at you for a moment, slipping his arms out of behind his head. He looks to be preparing to protect himself. You think you made your point.

((And thus we continue the saga of Tiruin and New Guy, with 5 and 0 speech respectively, trying to interrogate someone who only speaks a language they can't understand while a man with 20 speech sits around 20 feet away, watching the clouds.))

You try your best to convey an image of compassion, gently pushing New guy away and gesturing pleadingly with the raider while new guy takes practice swings in the back. The raider says something...but you have no idea what he said.  It's like he's speaking Chinese in Russian, or Russian in Chinese.

"Well, New Guy, it doesn't looks like we've reached an impasse. Even if this guy talks, we won't understand him -short of asking him to write down whatever he wants. I'll go out and check the jeep.
Spoiler: Tiruin (click to show/hide)

>Dim the lights, get my pistol and Ballistic Shield and...go over to drago and ask for some help in repairing it and maybe fortifying it for better holding.

>Search the kitchen for any spare containers for holding fuel or liquid.

>Maybe persuade the raider to come along with us. Do not hesitate to see if New Guy would tie him up.

"Gah, this guy is making my head all dizzy and full of migraine. I do not understand a single thing he said. Let's just tie this guy up, and bring him to the jeep. But first, we can't tie people without rope. Oh, and Tiruin, I think you can use this much better that I can."

> Give Tiruin the Surgical Tools (0kg).

> Call out to Drago, and if he responds, ask for a length of rope (enough to tie both arms and legs together).

> Call out to Terkiey, ask him to translate what this guy says while I keep tying him up.

> Drag the raider to the jeep, and put him beside the jeep for now.

New Guy shouts "Oi, Drago, Terkiey! Commere!"

Both Terkiey and Drago wander in, their movements slightly jerky as though they were puppets on strings. Tiruin hands drago his shield and drago begins working on it, squeezing insta-steel into the cracks and smoothly coating the entire thing in a thin coat of the silvery substance. He hands it back to Tiruin after letting it dry a bit; the shield is now a dull silver and seems strong as steel. Tiruin heads to the kitchen and starts digging through the cabinets while New guy gets a length of rope from Drago and starts tying the raider's hands behind his back.

"See if you can translate for us, Terkiey." New guy says, "He's speaking some sort of moon language."

"Xei-nov. It's a creole of Russian and Chinese. A lot of the raider groups speak it."

"You can speak it?"

"I can speak Russian and Chinese, the rest is guess work but it's not hard."

> Now that you have a translator, are there questions you want to ask before dragging him off?

"I should have figured this out earlier. Hmm, let's see."

>List Questions:
    What is your name?
    Which group are you from?
Are your friends coming for you?
    If so, when?

If interrogation is not going well:
I am sorry for tying you up. I can't understand what the heck you're saying. For all I know, you might be cursing at me for being such an idiot earlier. We can't have that.

"Err... Tiruin, Interrogation's not my talent. You take over here."

> Call out to Tiruin and let him do the talking. Also give the surgical tools to Tiruin if I haven't.

> Also, do a full sweep of the area (the whole base) for supplies. Wear and take chemical suit off as needed. Look specifically for fuel.

Tiruin barges in from the kitchen, mumbling. "No luck at all. Nothing but-" He stopped and looked at Terkiey and New Guy as they were being 'friendly' with the raider. It looked like they understood each other!

>Restate my old questions, affirm friendliness and the bottom question, why they attacked us. We can both team together for a common cause.

>Tell him I bandaged him up, we only fired back in self-defense. The other two raiders were given a rudimentary burial with what we had at the time. Don't try to fight us, you're in safe hands.
