I probably would've taken some points in melee, but my obsession with even numbers (and multiples of four) along with wanting to be decent at something, kinda made getting all the skills I wanted difficult. :P
I have no idea what kindof character I'm really going for. Some sort of vagabond, driven mad by the chaos and suffering in the world, questing futilely across the wastes in search of the Sacred Pants?
Yeah, that sounds good. Noble, determined, heroic, if a little unhinged... Ah, who am I kidding; the unarmed points are just there to beat on Drago.
Really, it's up to you, I rather liked the detailed backgrounds everyone else got, so keep up the good work. :)
Hm hm hm. Yeah, I can work with that. I'm curious to see what you do with that thrown skill. Wonder if steak knives can be balanced for throwing...

((I have no idea if I failed that speech check or if I went overboard. Nonetheless, I'm crying with laughter.))

'Hmm, a full force then. Is that fear I sense in his expression or mercy, from that bandage. I guess I should go into more detail. Psychology...'

The thought hung over Tiruin's head as he smiled slowly. Looking down upon the raider with the eyes of a surveyor, the most merciful expression he could afford that was sincere.

>Discard any lethal weaponry from the nearby vicinity of the raider. Open the doors leading out then point it out to the man.
>Tell him straight. "We're not here to kill you but to help." in the most appropriate language available.
>Offer him food, unstrap his arms but keep his lower body from escaping and adjust the straps so he won't be able to initiate self-escape, this is to nonchalantly check his body for any tracking devices or what not. Then await his reaction.

((Darn'it Yoink  :P The Ambassador has arrived!

Also, Psychological warfare! I hope this isn't one of those NPCs that know what we're planning...))

You pull your pistol from it's holster and toss it onto one of the nearby beds. You raise your hands in the most non-threatening way you can manage, back your way to the door and prop it open.

"We're not here to kill you, we're here to help"

You untie his hands and hand him an unlabeled can of food, covertly scanning him for any sort of hidden weapons or tracking devices as you do. You see none. He takes the can and eyes it warily. After a few moments of silence he looks at you as if to say "Am I expected to chew through this can?"

Patrol's over.

Rather sheepishly you take the can back and reach for your multi-tool. Where is that thi...oh right, lent it to drago. Even more sheepishly you walk to the kitchen and try to find a can opener. There are three. They're all electric. Damn it. You fish a knife out of one of the cutlery drawers and unceremoniously stab and pry at the lid until you get it open. More then a bit flustered, you march back out to the raider and place the can in his lap. He eats a little of it, still eying you cautiously.

There were some jerrycans in the garage you could use, so you head over there. Drago is there, with what crudely resembles a bow in one hand. Huh, guess he doesn't need a bow string. You grab one of jerry cans and are surprised to find that it's full. A quick sniff reveals the contents to be gasoline. You search through the others and find two more cans of fuel. Huh, well that makes things easier. You carry them back to the jeep.

You head back to the barracks and toss the shield down on one of the empty beds before wandering over to tiruin and his patient.

"Need any help with that?" You ask, pointing to the raider.

"No, no, I've got it under control."

"Whats he eating?"

"Some food from the jeep."

"Has he told you anything?"

"Not really."

"So...he's eating some of our very limited food and you haven't learned anything. Are you sure you know what interrogate means?"

Tiruin glares at you and you figure that now might be a good time to leave. You meander to the front of the base and find Maldevious, apparently just finishing loading some jerry cans.

"Need any help with that?" You offer.

"Nope."

"How about anything else?"

"Nope."

You nod to yourself and then lean against a wall and try your best to look busy.

Hmm, you don't really know if this padding is non-conductive or not...

I'm gonna have to give Terkiey a weightless pot to wear on his head as a trophy.
