You curse quietly to yourself and duck back into the barracks.

"No exit that way, just a burn pit full of bodies. Probably a good place to hide, if all else fails." You whisper to the rest of the group as you walk by and out through the door to the armory. You slink down the hall, past armory and into the hallway with the door to the infirmary.

>Infirmary
The door to the infirmary proper has been sealed off using some sort of foam substance and yellow biohazard bands have been draped across it. Though airtight, the seal doesn't look very sturdy. Though a window in the door you can see two metal crates with the logo of the Red Cross and the stenciled image of a syringe on them.

You ignore the infirmary for the moment and continue on out the front, holding yourself as close to the ground as possible and moving silently. You open the door to the front of the base slowly, peeking out into the dark. It takes you a moment but you finally spot them, 3 figures standing maybe 20 meters from the entrance to the barracks. They're holding some sort of rifle and gesturing to each other and then back at the barracks. From what they're wearing you can guess that they're raiders, not part of the Forgotten Sons. They all seem to be wearing a blue handkerchief or headband. You shift your weight to get a better look and the door creaks, hideously loud in the silence. You hold perfectly still and for a long moment everything is silent. You can see the three men looking searchingly into the dark in your direction. Finally, they turn back to what they were doing.

[you failed the first stealth roll horribly but aced the second one, so they heard you but couldn't see you in the dark. Very lucky]

Continue hiding.
You hold a pot over your head and continue to cower, figuring that if they got close, at least you could take a few good swings with that knife of yours.

You continue to helpfully cower, considering using a pot lid as a shield. "No," you decide, "that would be silly." and adjust your pot.

You double check that the gun is on (it has no safety) and ready yourself to return fire. From your earlier test firing you know three things: one, that the gun produces no muzzle flash, two, that it takes a few seconds to charge before firing and three, it buzzes like a million angry hornets while it is charging to fire. They'll definitely know the general direction you're in, but hopefully not exactly where.

> Slink back to the rest of the group and tell them the situation. Suggest me and whoever else can sneak swing around them, then attack from their flank. The people in the barracks will join the attack when we fire.
You ease the door shut and scramble back to the group.

"There's three of them that I can see," You report " Me and someone else who is good at being quiet should circle around and flank them while the rest of you hit them from the front when we do. Sound good? Who's coming with me?"

[so people don't have to look back over your stats, new guy is terrible at stealth, tiruin is alright but all the stuff he's carrying is gonna make being quiet hard, Drago is pretty good, and Terkiey is great but has no combat skills what so ever. Take your choice]

>>Reminder: Aim. You can aim for individual targets and for individual body parts on those targets (arms, legs, chest, torso, head). Aiming takes longer but makes shots easier (depending on the part you're aiming for. Head shots are always gonna be pretty hard). If you just shoot without aiming then what enemy you shoot at, and where you potentially hit is all random. Technically, you can kill with a shot to any part of the body, but some parts are faster. If you want to, you can tell me to automatically aim for you, ie that in a combat situation you always want to aim for then nearest target's chest, or the farthest target's right leg, etc and then I'll just do that. Up to you how micromanagey you want to get.

Maldevious looks from the gauss pistol in your hand to the revolver in your belt holster.
"For you to wield with your mouth?" He asks incredulously.
The rest of the team shakes their heads and you and Maldevious dash back down the hall and around to the main entrance to the base. When you get there the three men seem enthralled in a silent argument, allowing you and Maldevious to easily take positions at the doorway, crouched as best you can while using the door for cover.

>>Alright guys, declare your combat actions and we'll begin.

"I'll take the farthest one from us. Don't get fancy, aim for the chest."

> Fire a three-round burst at the chest of the farthest enemy.
You squeeze the trigger for just a moment and three rounds hiss across the blacktop toward the clustered men. Your aim was a bit low and to the left, the first round missing by an inch and the second only grazing  but the third catches him in the ribs with crack and he stumbles backward in pain as his companions look about in panicked confusion.

((oh right the revolver *facehoof*))

"oh right....."

>>Go do that stealth thing.

>>for the sake of immediacy, I'm gonna assume you're gonna aim for the closest target with a chest shot.
You line up your gauss pistol with the closest raider and pull the trigger. It begins to hum violently as power builds within it.

>>Because you got them from surprise, Tiruin and New guy get a go before the raiders do. Make it count guys.

Seeing that shots were fired at the guy farthest from the direction of the shots, New Guy prepares to load a shell on the coil gun. Afterwards, he aims at the raider in between the two other raiders.

>Aim at the middle raider's torso, load a shell on the coil gun, and fire.

((Drago, don't give the intention out  :P ))

Tiruin stood still in his crouch, holding his shield at his fore to protect him, New Guy and possibly terkiey from any attackers - ranged or otherwise. He could feel the fear in his thoughts and sweat on his neck, if it wasn't for the complete intervention of intuition earlier, he wouldn't have his safeguard propped and ready by his side.

Minutes passed, Maldevious and the other man codenamed "drago55577" were taking their time. Just when he was about to give up hope, he heard a trio of shots echo in the distance, somewhere farther on from the earlier. Judging by the weapons the two carried out with them, he concluded that it must've been the sneak party that caused the shots. He'd bet drago was busy with his better weapon.

He smiled as he unholstered his pistol, set off the safety and brought it by his shield, aiming at the general direction of the first shots.

>Respond to New Guy

"I think it's time we suppressed our attackers."

>Fire three shots at the most prominent figure, not New Guy, or in that general direction.
