I don't think I can maintain my character for this day up until the afternoon tomorrow. Things are busy over here.

I have school in a few days :/

>> With the sun setting, once again look for a safe spot to bunker down. Start with the nearby surroundings, then expand search if it is unsuccessful. Shelter is important.
>You search through the base with defense in mind, looking for a good place to bunker down in case of trouble. You remember that Tiruin said something about using the barracks, so you head there first. Once there, you take a good look around: The walls seem to be made of concrete with a metal shell and the windows are bullet proof. There's only one exit that has direct access to the outside, and you could use the empty beds to bar it and the other two exits if you wanted to. The kitchen area is set in an alcove and the serving station is solid is basically a 3 foot wall of metal, good for cover if shooting breaks out. In all, it seems like a pretty decent place.

You glare at the magazines for a moment before turning over in bed and starting to sleep.

You call New guy over into the barracks with you and everyone else, minus terkiey. Drago is already in bed, and maldevious is milling around, looking at the windows.

"We should sleep in shifts, make sure no one sneaks up on us." You tell new guy

"Alright, but what order should it be? And when are all gonna get up?" He responds.

>>Awaiting shift order and length of sleep in order to continue.

Check the area, if it is safe, continue into the armory.

Check the area, if it is safe, continue into the armory.
You peek out of where you were hiding and walk to the armory door. Everything seems quiet now so you squeeze under and into the armory.

>A office sized room with a wide array of weapons, ammunition and armor on dozens of racks and shelves; most of it is conventional, but a few pieces are strange to you. A desk is sits against the wall along with a file cabinet. The file cabinet is open. A small crater has been blown in the floor.

Look for a spot where the entrance to the barracks can be stealthily watched.

Look for a spot where the entrance to the barracks can be stealthily watched.
You search around the room for a defensible position and decide on a place in the kitchen, behind the serving station. It's a good distance from the entrance, but you'll be pretty well hidden back here.

Inspect the crater and look around for objects/drink.

Inspect the crater and look around for objects/drink.

The crater is about 8 inches in diameter and 4 or so deep. It seems like something struck here with a great amount of force, Probably whatever you saw hit the wall before. You take a quick look around the room for something to drink, but the only fluid you find is a can of small can of gun oil. The rest of the room is filled with racks of weapons and armor, mostly the standard issue M18 and bullet resistant vests. There are a handful of pistols and a submachine gun or two as well as what looks like some sort of heavily modified bullhorn mated with the lower half of a rifle.

Set up a watch spot behind the kitchen counter and look for some food and drink. Check any faucets for water. Take a watch at some point in the night. Try to sleep.

Can you draw a map of the barracks? Just a quick sketch/MS paint, nothing fancy.

Set up a watch spot behind the kitchen counter and look for some food and drink. Check any faucets for water. Take a watch at some point in the night. Try to sleep.
You drag a mattress from one of the beds into the kitchen and set it up so that you can quickly get up and into a hidden firing position if you need to. The faucets are dry but there are several large containers of water in the back of the kitchen, along with some rations labeled "3-MRE". The water tastes slightly of plastic and the food distinctly of tin, but it's filling. You're no longer thirsty.

You sit on the bed and wait for Tiruin to tell you and new guy when you're on watch.

Character locations noted.

> It's been a while, so I'll just work out the watch list myself and have you all sleep long enough not to have penalties. Right now we're just waiting on terkiey to get back from the armory, but considering it's probably the middle of the night for him, if he's not back soon I'll just have him walk back and join you all.
