>> 4/5 Travelers ready

>>Posting Useful Commands while waiting for final Acknowledgement

>>Examine: Carefully looks at an object, telling you more details about it, what is in it, what it could be useful for, how it might work and what you might be able to make using it.

>>Search: Searches the room looking for anything which might be hidden.

>> Search for Item: Searches for a specific item in a room

>> Aim for X :Allows you to aim for specific things while in combat, be it a specific opponent or body part. Aimed shots with guns require an extra turn to aim before firing but significantly improves the chances of hitting in general. Shots to small or quickly moving things (Head, hands, etc) will still be difficult. Melee blows need no extra time, but are more difficult to land.

>>Hide: The character will attempt to remain hidden from all others. They will stop moving if they feel they are close to being detected, unless specifically ordered not to do so (Ie if told to kill an enemy while hidden). Telling them to stop hiding will do just that.

>>Set Auto: Allows Me to control the character if the player does not wish to micromanage combat or the like. Autocontrol will attempt to survive and aid others while also gathering better equipment and conserving what they have. Survival is not guaranteed.

>>REMINDER: Difficulty has been set to harsh and type to Realistic. With these settings death is a very real, very permanent possibility. Do your best to avoid unnecessary danger, for no punches shall be pulled.

Realistic deaths is what I've been waiting for! No more Mary Sue!

>>Query Tiruin

>Certain aspects of examine will always function, specifically the ones telling you more about the object and if there's anything in it(in the case of containers). Other information is based on what the item is and the skills of the player. For instance, if you, with your relatively low mechanical skill, examined a broken engine you would be given a more in depth description of it, ideas of what you might be able to do with its parts (Because of your craft),  but not any information of what's wrong with it or how you might fix it. This is not dependent on a roll, rather it's a comparison of your skills vs a threshold number, so examining things more then once (unless you advance your skills first) will yield different results.

>Other travelers, however, may have different results because of different skills. Teamwork is Important.

>>Waiting for Terkiey

>>Additional information:
The crafting of items does not require any sort of plans or schematics, though such things do help. If you find a rifle scope and wish to ducttape it to your revolver, simply say so. If you find a gunsmith's shop and decide you want to make a punch gauntlet that fires shotgun shells, simply say so. If you can find the parts and succeed on the check, you can make pretty much anything. (note:Crafting, especially complex thing, takes time. Keep this in mind)

Likewise, keep an eye out for manuals, instructions, books and the like. They'll take time to read but they can improve your skills or make specific rolls easier. Reading the manual for your exoskeleton will make things significantly easier then simply strapping in and trying to you accidentally tear yourself in half.

>> Not quite been an hour but whatever. Starting.

Location:UN Base: Front
A large, mostly empty area  enclosed in a chainlink fence, Watch towers dotting the perimeter. A few burned out jeeps and the hulk of a half destroyed APC lay scattered on the blacktop.  Your jeep is parked near the entrance to the base in the north east. To the east is the main gate. Part of the fence has been torn down to the south east and a dirt trail leads from the hole off across the open fields. To the north west is what looks like a warehouse, as well as the entrance to the barracks.
Exits
nw (warehouse)(1min travel time)  nw (barracks)(1min travel time) ne (Infirmary) (1min) se (dirt trail) (unknown travel time, looks quite far till anything though.)

>Tiruin
>The APC is of a six wheeled variety, or you assume it would be if the back half of it was anything other than scrap metal. The interior and driver's compartment are burnt to the point of being nothing but bare metal and dali-esque melted plastic. The engine on the other hand looks functional, as far as your untrained eye can tell, and could probably yield useful parts.

>UN Base: Barracks
An ad hoc barracks has been assembled in what appears to be the cafeteria, rows of beds line the walls, each neatly made and clean, minus a thin layer of dust. A large kitchen and serving station is set into the northern wall. Light streams in through large plate windows, the strange distortions and shadows hinting that they are bullet proof. Not counting the door from which you entered, there are two exits, a hallway leading toward the north east and a set of doors that appear to lead back outside to the east.
