Yea.

Though we need to implement a neutral chain of command, seeing as we're all literally from different timezones.

I like the Auto function.
Auto helps to a point. Lets me do simple things like fight for them or make them craft stuff while the player is away. Stops us from getting bogged down waiting for people to do something for another person. But they're still basically idle because I don't want to take liberties with their character.

Chain of command is fine by me, if you guys want to make one up. It would basically just let someone else make decisions for you (by ordering you to do things) while you're on auto. It would mean less idling for people on auto, less worry for me, but there is the chance that you might come back to find a dead character. It's all your collective choice.

If piecewise is fine with it, I'm all for it. I know from GM-ing some other games that things start to get a bit overwhelming with so many characters, especially since you have a high amount of detail. But if you are okay, let's do it.

Yeah, we should get a chain of command system up, to speed up the pace. People active in this thread would be Maldevious, Tiruin, me and Yoink, so yeah, we need some kind of system up to allow the idle ones to move.

Just put me at the bottom of the chain on command. Also, I'll be AFK until this Sunday, so if you could hold off introducing me for a while, that would be awesome. Thanks!

I have no opinions on your GM problems currently.

Auto still on and stuff. Go with everyone, what else?

Mal, Yoinks, New guy? I figure you're setting up a chain of command here before going anywhere.

Also assuming you're heading to The Sunken City?

"Mining town? Hrm... I suppose you mean the Sunken City. A dreadful place! Dirty, so dirty... And the crowds! So many of them, everywhere, always looking, peering at us, their mean eyes and squinty noses... But oh yes, I suppose it is on the way, isn't it? We will have to go through there, then, on the way to Mount Vaalderstat? I suppose I'll have to pack some extra clothes, yes, must look my best in the Sunken City. They never trust a man unless he's clad in heffalump hides and shoes of silver... Very well, shall we go? Jakov seems to be getting impatient. He always taps his foot like that when he's in a hurry."

>Go along with the others, my meagre posessions tied in a bundle with string.
>Continue my creepy, incomprehensible muttering along the way, occasionally pointing out a landmark such as the great ice-cream tower or the Plains of Popcorn.
>Explain calmly  to Jakov that these people really aren't any threat; whilst we are under the protection of the Agency of Flies we cannot be harmed by the mundane weapons of mortals, and joining with them shall help us further our quest.

((Also, a chain of command sounds like a good idea, although the Auto thing is mostly good enough. I'm fine with Doomblade joining, if Piecewise is okay with it! :)) ))

Edit: ((Wow, I never knew a ':)' face with an extra ')' made a bigger smiley face. :P ))

>Request New Guy to take the wheel now, to let drago rest. To the Sunken City we go!

>Get to Sleep and request someone to wake me up later on.

"Sunken City. A real original name in this era. Pretty unique. We won't like to attract attention, I guess."

((About the sleep part, I shall be taking Watch again, just to note.))

"Aye. Let us head to the Sunken City now, guys. Hold tight, we might have a bumpy ride if we happen to pass by some bandits."

Drive to the Sunken City, when everyone's in the jeep. Listen to objections about the destination, if there are any.

((Okay, so yeah, we need a chain of command, but any idea on how we're supposed to do it?))

((Oh, and it's been quite a long time since my last post here. Darn choppy internets.))

>>As per how chain of command goes, it would probably just be one guy with the power to order people on auto around, make em do things that I wouldn't normally have them do for the sake of non-interference, and then a "succession" list for if that guy is gone (or dies).

>> For the sake of not sitting around forever, working out sleeping arrangements and generally slowing things down, I'm gonna just assume you drove, slept on the side of the road and then drove more in the morning. Nothing really happened beyond some eating and drinking. You're all rested.

>4 cans of food eaten
>5 gallons of water consumed

>Sunken City: Gate
A massive scrap metal gate straddles the road here, flanked on either side by a 10 meter wall. Strips of rusty razor wire and sharpened metal shards are welded pell-mell across every surface. Cobbled together guard towers loom up on either side of the gate, shadowy figures shifting within. As the jeep draws close to the gate a man dressed in red uniform steps out of one of the guard towers and into the center of the road. He raises his hand and motions for you to stop. Beyond the wall you can see what look like great black clouds, feed by countless tendrils of rising smoke. The dull roar of heavy machinery can barely be heard in the distance.

"Wow, so this is the Sunken City, eh?" New Guy's voice then lowers in volume. "Looks like a dump."

"Well, we can't just dilly-dally, gawking at the large walls of scrap all day, so yeah, let's move."

Go with Terkiey, bring coil gun, but holster it.
