Comics about your fortress

Why doesn't this thread exist yet? I can't be the only person to have had this idea.

This was one of my first fortresses, too. Never before had I experienced such a death toll. I think I lost another trying to retrieve the lost equipment, then abandoned after a failed drainage attempt.

I think we've had these before, but they tend to drop off pretty fast due to lack of participation.

So yeah, not exactly a comic, but I plan to make it into one. I just embarked on a very promising spot until my miner caused a cave-in, shattering his and my other miner's legs, ribs and arms. The starting seven are now the starting five because those idiots can't tell where the business end of a pickaxe is. >=(

Not the best, was a rush job.


Not sure how the dwarf went over river in the first place. Either he was thrown a good 6 tiles by the mandrill or he swam.
But for some reason couldn't swim back.

Maybe. Possibly a bug.

I've got a few pony mod related ones, but it's probably best not to set that precedent, eh?

Unfortunately, my forts seem to be devoid of many humorous events.  I think I'm too careful sometimes. :(

Funny events can be anywhere. I'm careful, too, but sometimes the game just goes funny.
It's all in how creatively your brain interprets it. :P

I dont have anything funny but i can make one about my evil embark where one of my horses was my downfall, a child gets eaten by her own zombie father and a child runs away from the zombified fortress members for days and days in a field of tentacles soaked in blood from the rain
