Transferring Pokemon from a ball to another is banned.

Whats the reasoning behind this? Because it seems illogical, and with all the strange new balls in this game, it's a bit annoying. Seems like something from IRC that is held over to keep people from re-using a master ball or some other such nonsense, since it was Kuji that responded and not Weird. XD

It seems to me that releasing a mon and having it stand there, while you bop it again seems totally logical and doable. With the caveat that any bonuses given by the balls only happen when they are in said balls, and released mon like this totally destroy the ball beyond repair(to avoid the masterball nonsense from above).

It's going to become increasingly important as we go along as we shift from catching wild mon to using our caught teams more.

Anyways, I'm up for a game tonight.

The question is, is everyone actually going to remember or write down what ball they are using?

And some of the usages are dice roll dependent.

So, basically, to cut down on both player and GM headache, it's banned.

And no. I didn't ask IRC at all about this. Please do not assume that I do for every single thing. I made my decision based on an actual case back in my first campaign.

Yeah. Lets session tonight.

Guess I'll be back in about three hours to see if the server is up, then. ^^^

@Kuji: Actually, I do generally write down which balls I use. ^^

Also, I hope you didn't make that decision just because I was the one who asked it. You seem to be in a bad mood regarding me lately.

But, given that WS didn't comment on it, I'll assume he's alright with your decision. Or ambivalent. :P

I may be in a bad mood with you, but that does not give me the right to inflict punishment on everyone else because of it. My decision was entirely regardless of our relationship, and would be the same no matter who asked for it.

Oh. Wonderful. Chemistry issues. And yeah, Kuji's decision stands.

Server is up. Though from the sound of things, looks like there are thunderclouds on the horizon?

Ok weird, need a ruling from the GM about my last feat. I got Latent Potential thinking I could learn any tutor move listed in the dex. I figured I'd be rolling for it like on the texp tokens. Kuji now explains to me this is not the case. And it basically does nothing for any of my current mon.

So I'm wondering if you would allow me to switch it out for Natural Progression instead?

Sorry for flaking out last night, but I really did need to get some sleep. ^^^; I'm about to head out as soon as I finish my coffee, but I thought I'd let Dwarmin take a day off from it and ask if we're playing again tonight. Also, I don't suppose you guys finished the battle?

We did finish the battle, after some Rule 0 saving. Otherwise Karen was set up to whup us here and back.

As to playing today, Weird said he would rather not, but we might be able to entice him to play with the server tonight. If everyone wants to give it a shot.

Well, you could bring the server up, and we still don't have to play :P

At any rate, I'm up for it.

If he doesn't want to, don't worry about it. I need to get some sleep tonight anyway since - as it turns out - I have to be up even earlier tomorrow to finish the job. Yeah, I worked from 7 AM to 4 PM today, didn't finish... have to head out about 6 AM tomorrow to do the last fourteen or so logs.
