Oh gods. I finally got past them, but be careful. If you go to the next level without jumping on the spot three times then going in a circle, they'll dump water on you and you'll melt!

Actually, I also wear a Poisonbane amulet, dispelling poison damage. Useful for fighting Poisonspitter Behemoths.

So, I just installed the Ynnud pack. Wow, Just... Wow. When you launch, you find a scroll in your inventory, and you use it to enter Ynnud, which is like.. this fucking massive cave, and there's a city in it. With absolutely no NPC's. Huh. But I've found several more scrolls, and they send you to some really cool places.

so I found this mod and downloaded it called the pig pack, it adds this pig grinder that converts one pig unit (each pig has 34 pig units) into a pinecone and or bacon depending on the level and rarity materials used to make it.
