It's an old genetic experiment of mine. That ship was abandoned after it went a bit out of control. I suggest either running or steering the ship into a sun. By the way, they have poisonous spines that give you extreme pain. They are also very aggressive.

It was abandoned about three updates ago. If a ship goes empty for two updates, it gets labeled as Ancient.

Well, personal experiments aren't too out of the ordinary, but alien tech is a different matter altogether.
