... And, judging by my current bearing and position in the system, said planet is about to get hit by a cloud of what amounts to giant, relativistic buckshot. Like I said: Shit could get ugly.

'Tis what I expected. Figured I'd ask just in case though. I may be slightly neurotic.

'Kay, so, I just started this game and I'm finding myself facing these... things which appear to be made out of pure chaos.

My attacks are doing negative damage.

That's probably because you need a order sword. Chaos swords hold more appeal to them because they do extra damage, but as you now know do negative to Ri'therblarkle. That's why it's a good idea to carry both. However, If they have shut down the sectors doors, they have a weak spot where there is order in them, as all things need order, and vice-versa.

Well, at least I'll get to see how realistically the game models the effects of relativistic projectiles entering a planet's atmosphere.

Has anyone tried to just talk to these Chaosformer guys? My skiff recently crashed into a drone in Sector 3, and we crash-landed on one of the more hospitable moons together. They've been helping me repair my ship, though I'm sure that might be just because mine's less bunged up then theirs and they think they can hijack it once we're done...
