Fair warning: magic and tech mix poorly in my experience, at least until you get very high levels in both areas. Thankfully magic can do just about anything tech can do, so if you focus on one you don't miss much.

This isn't true if you're a Technomage, though your advancement in both areas is slowed down quite a bit.

But, personally, I prefer to mix animism and technology together, which is why I've recently made a Spirit Engineer. I've found most machines run a lot better if you have some sort of ghost in them.

True, but Technomages aren't a common class, and wer6 would never be at the tech level he's at already if he been able to use magic all along.

Oh, and beware of putting ghosts and spirits in your machines. They run better, true, but they're susceptible to both AI rebellions and demonic possession, both of which are a pain in the ass to deal with and can cripple entire empires if left unchecked.

You could also go the other option and just make everyone else on your world do stuff for you instead of researching yourself.

Does anyone know if leech riders are any good? Their base stats look pretty good, and i love their special attack "drainage", but it took a lot of energy and time to produce them, so i am quite cautious with deploying them.

Don't use them too much but when a enemy brings out a slow attacking healthy unit, use them!

Okay. so I dicked around with magic A bit, and A ghost came out of one of my experiments and then proceeded to fuck half my shit up, worst of all he is A RED Pinecone ghost, he eats pinecones and becomes bigger, hes HUUGGE, and hes pillaging A third of my planet.

Does anyone know the market value of a tame Cat-eyed cyberkraken? I heard they were extremely rare, and I have never encountered one on the market, but for some reason I managed to capture one! Their stats are horribly awesome, so I doubt I'll sell it, but it's always good to know.
