I seem to have a problem. I was walking around the Mining Sector on the Yarg planet, and I walked into some facility and pressed a button or two. Next thing I know, the entire facility has it's roof open and thousands of nuclear whale missiles launch out.

Normally I wouldn't care, because Planet Yarg is known for it's Nuclear Whale defense mechanisms, but those looked like HYPERDRIVE nuclear whale missiles. I may have just whaled an entire galaxy.

That's okay. Much larger sacrifices have been made in the name of progress. Besides, any missle defencs should protect them. Atomics are rather weak, honestly.

Huh. It seems like doing that activated a subquest or something. One of the Yargs knocked me out and now I'm in this room, completely naked, with the only thing that isn't solid wall being a forcefield door and a ventilation shaft. Every so often a rocket pea is released into the room, and there's a little counter at the top that goes up when I eat one, and right now I'm on 46/100. Anyone else do this? It just seems too easy.

TCM just ported it into an alternate universe. At least parts of it. The others remained, and the holes were filled by hell demons, from the void of Shrynaga. Anyone with shamans or other magic units needs to go and seal the gateway.
