Diego notched another arrow. It was too bad Ricardo was hanging back and tending to his horse, otherwise he'd request some music. Something appropriate for what he was about to do. "Reinforcements sound like they're coming from... that direction." He drew the arrow back.

Diego fires a Force-magic arrow at the reinforcements, this time tripling the amount of magic used. Additionally, the spell is changed so that it detonates as a massive shockwave when the arrow impacts instead of just boosting he speed and power of it.

Darn it, everybody's going for the boss and the lieutenant.

Welp, someone's gotta save you guys from backstabs from the other four guys still moving.

Shoot the four non-leader non-lieutenant bandits remaining.

April took out a pistol and fired it at the longbowman. He was alone, and a single shot could probably take him out. Right?

Arcane Steel - Turn 23 - Bullrush

The enemy forces come closer upon the squad as the enemy marauders still standing simply refuse to surrender, their eyes filled with a mix of hatred and fear, their body coated in hot and cold sweat. There they stay, confident in the incoming reinforcements and in the impending doom soon to crash against the party.

April aims for the standing longbowman.
-
Candy is inside the aforementioned person's pocket.
-
Diego attacks the incoming enemies.
-
Adrienne goes berserk and attacks the laughing leader.
-
Dellus tries his hand at shooting against the leader.
-
Davie attacks the four non-leader lieutenants.
-
Thelfin starts a charge against the enemies below.
-
Falion initiates an attack against the lieutenant.
-
Ktimbi tries to suffocate the lieutenant.
-
Airgead is being used as a horse at the moment. Leave you message after the roar.

April takes the pistol she still had not used, positions her body diagonally while sticking out her arm like a boss, aims and shoots at the longbowman, [2v2-2, 2,1-1] managing to hit him but causing no damage as the projectile hits the light armor at a terrible angle, pinging off the metal. The longbowman's gaze shifts for a moment and he jumps to the side, terrified, narrowly avoiding what seemed to be a shining, rushing...knight?

Davie whips out one pistol from his belt and fires against the closest longswordman. [6-1v4, 5, 6-2] Although a medium armor does a good job at diminishing the impact, the small piece of lead pierces through the steel plate, [4] breaking its external casing and spreading black dust over the man before the solid core pierces the man's liver. [1] The man does not handle the pain well, kneeling and finally collapsing to the ground while clutching his wound, letting out pained cries.

Diego prepares another force magic arrow, this time attempting to pour three times the amount of power into it. [5] Incredibly, it works, and he is able to squeeze a large amount of magical energy into the spell, proceeding to imbue it with a explosive circuit of energy. [1] The attempt at energy manipulation fails spectacularly and the nucleus starts to turn dangerously unstable, weakening the force of the spell and shining perilously. [4] The spaniard is able to contain the energy oscilation and give it a minor circuit capable of creating a shockwave upon impact, and although not perfect, meddling with the magical energy after causing so much damage to its arrangement would be too risky. "Reinforcements sound like they're coming from... that direction." He notches the powered arrow, carefully pulls the string and releases it, aiming in the general direction of the incoming noise. [6-1v5] Shooting blindly did not work too well for the arrow's general accuracy, but the spanish mage perks up his ears to check for any damage caused by the shockwave...[3] He only hears a yelp of surprise and some cursing. It seems to have worked on stunning or slowing them down due to wariness, but the impact did not take any of the enemies down.

Adrienne is not pleased by the enemy leader's smile. And so she shows him how much she appreciates his alluring figure which is like that of a fat matriarch stuck into both a tight corset and a frilly dress by complimenting him on it. [TauntRes:6] His smile only grows larger and incredibly he does not seem fazed the tiniest bit by Adrienne's offenses. The frank knight still seems intent on ripping off his heart and maybe eating it: "Oh honey, we're going to have some fun. I'm going to take my time with you." She charges him anyway, aiming her longsword directly at his heart (which means a penalty to-hit). Adrienne's Not Heartwrenching Her blade angles towards his heart, but the man dodging attempt manages to cause her blade to hit his sword arm instead. Steel clashes against steel and the armor is damaged and caved in against his flesh, but he is still in fighting condition. A bolt passes by her side almost unnoticed. [6-1v2+2] Some of his lost confidence comes back and he counters Adrienne's sword charge by quickly moving to her and grabbing the arrow still stuck on the light plate armor and inside her flesh, [6-1v5] almost managing to bury it deeper into her flank before she leaps back to safety. He spins the arrow playfully around his fingers and the knight's bleeding intensifies. The two remaining longswordsmen file by his side. Suddenly, there is a loud sound, a terrifying crash and two of the men, the leader included, are nowhere to be seen...Oh, there they are, on the ground.

Ktimbi attempts to manipulate the cloud into entering the lieutenant's lungs by his mouth, [2] but the cloud remains unaffected, still shrouding Falion and Airgead.

Falion mounts Airgead and points towards the lieutenant after Ktimbi's failed attempt at shamanic magic produces no effect. "For the Realm, For the King, For the [Lord]!" Falion cries as the wolf under him covers the distance between them and their target in one leap. [4v5] The lieutenant escapes the wolf's savage attack by a few inches by rolling sideways, [1v2] and in the same movement he manages to escape the dragoon's lance. The bandit gives him an unsteady smile, as if trying to muster courage himself: "<Is that all you've got, noble piece of shit?>" The young knight can not understand what he said, but...It is very obviously not nice. [5] Airgead leaps back and outside the lieutenant's range, only to leap once again towards the man. [1v5] Once again the bandit dodges Airgead's wild attack, [5-1v1, 3+1, 5-2] but fails to escape Falion's glaive, which hits his right hand with a good amount of force, causing him to loosen the grip on his longsword and curse as blood drips from the hilt. A figure clad in dark blue and silver rushes nearby and the marauder avoids him by sidestepping, surprised by its appearance.

Dellus tries to shoot at the leader using his newly-acquired crossbow which he has never used. [3-3v2-1] [3] The bolt is so poorly aimed due to a sheer lack of technique it actually passes too close to Adrienne. She apparently does not notice, but it may have been just the fact she is too absorbed in facing off the leader. Then something smashes against two of the soldiers. Ouch.

Thelfin stops trying to attack from afar and stands up, taking out his "angelic" mace. The byzantine knight then starts to run towards the brawl below, aiming to generically charge them. His sprint builds speed and soon enough he is causing a large amount of noise as his armored body mercilessly crushes the branches of the unfortunate tress that dare stand in his way. Thelfin's Bullrush As he moves with momentum comparable to a speeding car, one of the maurauders in his way, the lieutenant, steps to the side with a frightened expression, but behind him there are three more targets. The eyes of one of the swordsmen widens as he takes in what is happening and quickly dodges to the side, but the two remaining enemies are not so lucky. [6,6] Normally the tackle would only be the first part of a two-step attack ending with a mace swing, but this time the heavily-armored warrior can hear the sound of their medium armor creaking and resisting the strain of his bulk crashing against them. The men inside were not designed to resist the attack, however. Thelfin's grieves sink into the ground as he stops his charge and both the leader and a longswordsman fall to the ground some feet away, arms, ribs and probably legs of the side the knight crashed upon broken and twisted. [4,4] Both are still alive and conscious, even if groggy, surprised and visibly in pain.

Leaves rustle furiously as the enemies take positions behind the curtain of branches and folliage. Diego's shockwave effect slowed their advance, and the sound they are making mean they have just started taking firing positions. Shadowy figures with pikes form a defensive perimeter the way they came, their status as pikemen only obvious due to the small wall of metal tips coming from between the trees and into the clearing.

...Oops, by "shoot" I did not mean literally shoot. I meant firebolts. I guess I confused firebolts as bolts.

No worries, it's my fault, no denying. And crippling a man is perfectly okay for me.

"Look out, they aim to make us as Swiss cheese!"

Throw as many firebolts as I can into the foliage. Don't aim to hit, aim to set as many people as I can on fire. Then hide behind a tent. If they start shooting, hit the deck and make myself as small a figure as possible.

Airgead > Hamstring the Lieutenant or tackle him down. Then howl to strike fear into these worthless curs.

Falion > Apply Glaive to nearest opening in armor, try to disarm the Lieutenant and aim for any vital places, striking at them.

If possible, look for Javelin in my peripheral vision.

.......that was close. Dellus puts away his Masterwork Crossbow and since his magic has returned, he starts shooting bolts of light at the enemies.
