And if you aren't present, your assistant coach does your job for you, and he really does try to keep in line with the management style and policies you lay out.

I know it's unrealistic, but I can't help but imagine little bearded babies for dwarves. In my mind, they come out of the womb fully bearded. That's how the mother carries them around, too, she just drags them around by the beard or ties it to her belt. When the father's on duty, he just ties their beards together and the baby just kind of hangs there, swinging to and fro with Urist McDaddy's movements.

In that case I'd be glad to play. I don't have teamspeak though.

Its free software. And a preference. Its just, you'll miss out on the conversation at large without it.

Just joyously discovered that it's possible to manage both a national team and a football club. Was managing the Irish National Team and jumped at the opportunity to manage Manchester United. I'm now going to attempt to fill manchester united with all of my national team to allow me to train my players better while also humiliating England by having their #1 team be filled with irishmen  :P

Good to know. Thanks for the heads up.

Somewhat disappointed due to the lack of responses and having very few people to talk about the Euro in South America I'll shamelessly bump this thread to advertise my Euro Cup Prediction Maker (b12Post)...

Wanna get a competition going or something?

On topic, I've played the hell out of FM when it was called Championship Manager (specially versions 2002 and around.  If I'm not mistaken, CM3 and CM4) but I've long resigned to the fact that the game is too addictive for me to risk playing it :P  I remember the old CM had messages in the save file that told you to go outside after a while (with increasingly funnier messages).

FM2012 gives you a rating based on how much you've been playing. At the peek, our DFC game was at "turning underwear inside out to save on laundry" or something like that.

This game could honestly give out hand jobs for free and people would still bitch.

Damn, now I have the urge... But it's pretty expensive.  I'll just set an email notification so that if the game price drops I'll know about it.

Its a different kind of game. Your going to be spending most of your time looking at text, and its pretty in depth. I would definitely recommend getting the demo on steam first.

Think of it as a text-based game. Matches are nothing more than very complex simulations so graphics aren't a priority.

And match graphics used to be 2D. I would even settle for just reading about how the match is going.
