Any updates on stopping world gen during the dwarf v. dwarf war?   The idea of a dwarf civilization siegeing a player's fortress intrigues me.  Would try myself, but lazy and newb.

Also, any way to get more information from worldgen about the human that killed Gedor (maybe combing civ records or site records)?

I actually did try stopping worldgen in the middle of the war - however, in the embark screen, the "neighbors" still looked normal even when embarking on one of the warring dwarf civs right in the territory of the other civ. Actually, I don't know if it's even literally possible to make contact with more than one civ of each species, so... probably not gonna happen. :(

This probably could be used to mod any two civs to occasionally go to war - it happened because ONE civ had a god of discipline and laws, and the OTHER civ had a god of chaos. In 40d, goblins and elves would sometimes go to war because the elf civ had a force whose element was water-related, and the demon was fire-related. I'm sure you can give two different types of civ opposing elements in their preferred deity list and they'll go to war every once in a while.

As for the human, I'm not sure HOW I can track a literally nameless human... even without culling historical figures, there is no other records of this person's existence. Even the gender of Gedor's slayer is unknown...

Tortoise Fiend imprisoned for 270 years of a 400 year world history.

Does nothing until he gets imprisoned, goes on a rampage similar to Gedors after.
Kills 7400 in the remaining 32 years of history, 4000 of them dwarves


Edit: also, i just noticed he's the war leader of the evil weevils. lol.

Couldn't somebody just regen that world and make Goblins use towns instead of fortresses so you can travel there in adventure mode?

His prison time must have filled him with a legendary anger.

Also, in before people seek for imprisoned demons, release them and try to come up with the largest kill list ever.
