The child looks up, absolute sincerity on her face; "He's been coughing red and black, if that's what you mean."

It's obvious that she is worried about her pet, and that she has little knowledge in the concept of dying and death.

Fahim unwraps the rabbit.

The rabbit is a mess.  In fact, Fahim can't even fathom how the thing is still going.  It's obviously starved to the point of exhaustion, with its ribs making an impression into the piebald fur.  What's left of the fur and hair around its face is stained a dark brown color, and...black, oddly enough.

It's moving, so that's enough to make Fahim assume it's alive, but....it's extremely cold to the touch.

"O-oh. How long has the bunny been like this?" Fahim steps back, away from the rabbit without thinking. "Uh. Let me- uh, please wait with Dimah, in the waiting room." Fahim moves the girl into the waiting room and tells Dimah to look after her.Fahim explains the situation to Dimah in a whisper. Look, I know this isn't your job but there is something seriously wrong with that animal. I need to put it down. I can't tell what is wrong with it but it is obviously suffering. Try and find out who the girls parents are and get them on the phone. You're a lifesaver, Dimah."

Bio: Robert is a quiet young man, used to solving arguments with his words rather than his fists. He come from a family in Innsmouth whose lineage has quite a few deep ones in it. He is a descendant of the experinced dreamwalker Randolph Carter. 2 years before coming onto the ship he was in a coma froma deadly car accident. In reality a member of the Great Race of Yith has swapped minds with him 2 years previous and has gotten a feeling that it will be meeting members of its race soon.

The little girl lowers her head and steps out of the room.
Before she's through the door, she utters a few sobbing words; "He'll be ok, won't he?"

"I hope so." Fahim turns around to face the creature. He grabbed a syringe and moved to the drug cabinet, filling it with a fast acting poison. He hoped to kill the creature and then vivisect it. "This may be the beginning of some type of some disease," Fahim thinks. I might be able to prevent this. I've never seen anything like it."

The rabbit begins convulsing, whipping it's body back and forth before sliding itself off of the table onto the floor below, then sliding around more, slamming its head into the wall and leaving black and red trails throughout the room.

Fahim, shocked by the seizure steps away from the rabbit with a gasp. He then regains composure and attempts to pin the rabbit in place with the sole of his shoe and hold it still long enough to try and inject the creature.

Robert surveys the market from his post in front of the alley. From in between the vet and the stalls next to it allow him to see most of the market place. The Yithian invader whishes for a lighting rifle and its true form but the humans crude weapon will do.

Fahim makes the pin with accuracy, though perhaps a little too roughly.  The rabbit spray paints the wall in front of it black.

Its struggle dies down, if only by a little.

The little girl eventually leaves the vet clinic crying.  It's sad, but something that's seen often.

Fahim attempts to inject the creature and put it up on the table so he can begin a proper vivisection.

The needle jabs into the rabbit's soft flesh easily.  A quick injection calms the thing down, making its breathing barely visible.

However, reaching down to lift it up to the table proves rather difficult.  The rabbit is extrodinarily heavy, for some odd reason.  It's as if Fahim is attempting to pick up a grown man's weight, perhaps even more.
