The riot grenade strikes home, landing right in a crevice between one of the creatures many heads.
It detonates, sending the creature spiraling backwards and down the stairs, its screams echoing throughout the stairwell.
The door at the top of the stairs opens slightly, and the little girl from the vet clinic runs out, unhindered by the grasping hands of her fellow children. She wraps her arms around Fahim in a fierce hug, "Please don't go mr. doctor, please don't go like mom and dad did!"
Fahim feels just a little bit of his sanity return through this act of innocence.
((Communities is more reasonable, and probable. Groups of survivors will be found throughout the ship, each with different mentalities towards the group and differing opinions on how to deal with the current situation. Also, the overreaching goal is to get off of the horrorterror infested ship, but since the gyrostabalizer is going out, the ship may flip the gravity upside down and destroy the ship when all of the weight shifts the wrong way. It will be up to the group to get to the stabalizer and repair it, thereby saving the ship. The stabalizer is a few floors up, near the center of the ship. The emergency escape craft are located at the dead bottom of the ship; and I meant for this to be a fast paced game, with danger always near, and constant management of sanity and life. As the horrorterrors begin getting ahold of more and more of the ship's denizens, their number will increase. Going into cryo for even three months is out of the question; the entire ship would be doomed by then. The infestation was sudden and rapid, with much of the ships population driven insane by whatever's on the ship.
I'm sorry if I was not clear enough about some of this.))
