And only 1 of those was an elf, lol. Made her Militia Commander soon as I saw this.

If it only killed animals, it isn't necessarily a vampire. It's probably a worldgen hunter of some sort. Vampires come with a metric crapload of trinkets made from the hair, bones, teeth, and nails of their kills. Their sentient kills, I might add. They won't drink the blood of non-sentients.

I don't think vampires need to sleep, and in the 2nd screenshot, the dwarf is sleeping. So I'm guessing it's not a vampire, just a bad-ass dwarf.

Not a vampire, I've encountered quite a few incredibly successful hunters with a tonne of beastfolk kills to their name. :)
Pretty good migrant, probably just what a new fort needs!

This dorfette turned up as a migrant to my fortress - I've had no vampire related events in the three years she's been a resident - although she's had one child so far and done her bit for the rampant under-aged leech-spiral......
