I would very much like to disable this "feature".  "Enhance your search experience" is the 21st century way of saying "sell more ads to you", and every time I look at Google's privacy policy I want to fire off an email saying "Fuck you, where's the option for you recording nothing about me?"

Anyway, here's what mine says:

Arts & Entertainment - Music & Audio - Rock Music
Computers & Electronics - Software - Multimedia Software - Graphics & Animation Software
Games
Shopping - Apparel - Casual Apparel

Gender: Female

I'm slightly insulted but I'm betting it's making a random guess on my gender.  Funny that it has no idea how old I am.

I know Google knows I live around Dallas, Texas, because any time I search for stuff it automatically recommends Dallas-area results, and I feel really paranoid about that, especially since they don't mention it here.

Oh, wait, I've had Adblock Plus on for almost a year now so it doesn't display anything in my preferences and Google's privacy invasion is even less likely now that I know this cookie exists and have disabled it.

that's just IP based ads,
many ads use that feature, it takes your ip and can tell what state /city you live in, and then change to contents of the add so it includes that or only shows results that are close to it.

Personally I'm ok with this. Ads help support websites and I'd rather get adverts that actually appeal to me since
a) I'm less likely to be annoyed by them.
b) I'm more likely to click it, supporting the website.
c) I don't visit any websites that abuse ads.

Just sayin'.

I would suspect it no longer has anything on me anyway, what with several adblockers, peerblock, and having prepared my account by clean slating it before the new policies kicked into gear.

To say the least, I can give less a crap about what Google, nay anyone, thinks of me.

It used to be spot on, but apparently searching for monospaced fonts for my terminal on this new operating system adds 10 years to your age. Geez. I just formatted my computer a week ago though, so meh.
