Hey guys, me and my roommates have been playing a lot of flash tower defence games lately, and were wondering if there is any we can, you know, play cooperatively. I tried digging around but kept finding SC2 maps and such and since one of my roommates is playing on an Eeepc with a 1,6 ghz Atom processor, that would probably not fly.

So does anyone know of any cooperative, preferably online flash-based tower defence games?

I'm not sure about flash games, but two steam games with co-op tower defense that comes on sale fairly often are:

Not sure how well they run on older computers though...

Edit:  Actually, I think I ran Sanctum on my laptop once, and it started to chop quite a bit.

As mentioned, Starcraft, Warcraft 3, Starcraft 2.  Any of them has co-op tower defense of varying quality and options associated with it.

Dungeon Defenders is a game based solely around the concept, but it's not a flash game. I don't know many flash based cooperative tower defense games, but Dungeon Defenders is worth getting if you ever see it on sale on Steam.

No it isn't, DD is awful. Still worth getting when it's on sale though, copies of it sell like hotcakes in TF2.

Spring RTS has a bunch of defense-ish mods, the most notable being Zero-k's chicken mod. Mobs will constantly attack you while you try to defend yourself and root out hives to weaken the swarm, eventually bringing down the wrath of the chicken queen.

Also, it's like 10+ rts games in one. Play it.

My support is with sanctum, because it's a tower defense planer in between the waves, and a first person shooter during, so you actually have something to do when they're coming at you other than just micromanage junk.

I will also back up sanctum! Genuinely pretty hard to complete stages, and the FPS stuff doesn't feel tacked on.
