Just out of curiosity, did anyone notice what it is that's menacing you in the picture from two updates ago?

As you regain control of your legs, you sprint for all you're worth; your only thought being flight from the silhouette. Panic gives you strength to run faster than thought you could, and you race through the cold air. The sensation of mist on your skin has changed from a pleasant caress to a cold burden.

The speed that aided you in fleeing nearly sends you to your death off of the edge of a chasm, its bottom shrouded in mist. You can't hear the pervasive breathing behind you anymore, but the feeling of being watched grows. You can feel in your gut that the creature is coming for you... but from where?

You know you have wings! Use them!

Hover in the air or practice a bit. Panicking is the worse thing we can do currently!

((Heh, our description was not stated in stone.))

:) Heh. Resourceful, but sadly you don't have wings. If you'd like, the protagonist can check his back for them, though.

You can see it's wiry figure, clawing it's way quickly up the cliff. Little detail reaches your sight besides it's overly stretched frame and the flailing, twisting crawl it's using to climb closer to you, almost mocking any sort of movement a human could ever do. The only detail that seems to stick in your panicky brain is the wide gaping mouth ong the creature, and the profound red that colours the hungry maw.

"Is someone there? No... No! Get away!"

A man is screaming somewhere nearby. You inch forward and peer down the edge of the cliff face to see a pair of hands desperately clutching onto a rock outcropping. Their wielder is obscured by the stone.

"Wait... you're not... that, are you?"

The voice has lowered from a scream to a wavering, fearful whisper.

"Oh, thank God! It's coming for me, I need to get out of here; help!"

Before you can react, a calm, cool voice speaks.

"It's a trap."

You whirl around, another surge of fear coursing through you. It's... no, it's not the creature. A human-shaped silhouette greets your eyes, hands clasped behind it's back. You can feel a piercing gaze directed at you, and a terrible feeling of being oh, so, small surrounds you.

"OH, GOD, IT'S THERE! RUN!"

Back off from both of them and see if this mysterious man does anything to the cliff-hanger. If he kills the cliff-hanger for no reason, and the hanger seems helpless, I suggest you run. If he calmly talks to you, assume he is some all knowing entity and proceed to listen to his talking, but be cautious.

+1

(The man seems to hold a close resemblance to a character from LSD. I presume it wasn't a coincidence?)
