a marksgoblin takes a shot at it, it is pierced in the left arm.
The gorilla is slowed, but appears angrier. It coughs more violently.

You order a marksgoblin to cover the bolts with the strange liquid, and insert them into their quiver. you wait for a while.
The gorilla starts coughing up blood.

Stare at it. Try and see if its skin is coming off.

You watch the gorilla, waiting, expecting it to die.
The gorilla is violently coughing blood, it finally drops dead.
Its skin did not come off.

if you could wash it, you could skin the thing and wear it as an intimidating black cloak...

Cover all our bladed weapons (sharp blade part only) in !!SCIENCE!! and get the key. See if the body of the Gorilla can be dragged into the water and washed off without harming or risking anyone.

(Note to self: !!SCIENCE!! takes 7 turns to kill)

(Ok, that's clever I must say)
You order to wipe the bladed weapons with the liquid, then a hammergoblin smashes the cage open, a pikegoblin drags the body with his pike into water, and starts washing it. The key is clean and available.

The door is unlocked, and as it opens you see a startling sight. There is an enormous room, several floors high, stairs along the walls with holes in the walls, each storing a coffin of an unnamed dwarf. (I'm going to make this easy and say that there is no undead.) At the ceiling of the room is an enormous chandelier, lit with flames. On your current level, there is a huge stockpile of barrels, this is too well defended to just be grog. There are labels, identical on each one, but it is indistinguishable from this distance. You take in the sheer magnificence of the engraving lining the walls.
"Strange, you're da' first greenskin to come down here."
You quickly turn to where the voice came from. You see that there are two staircases, both directly next to the doorway which you entered which lead up to a hollowed out segment of wall, as amazingly engraved as the rest of the room. In this segment there is an iron throne, a dwarf is sitting upon it. His breastplate has bone spikes protruding from it, and his helmet contains an emerald with a high quality engraving of a dragon. The most striking thing he has though is a bronze halberd, the blade is tipped with steel and spines of pure white zircon stick out from behind it, capturing the dim lighting causing the entire axe to give off an ominous glow.
He stands up from the throne and leaps down to your level, drawing his axe.
"First one to get this far, I have to give you credit for that."

Begin flanking maneuvre, let him come to us. Also have our marksgobbos with SCIENCE bolts shoot at him to weaken him a bit. if we last seven turns we'll kill him
