I bought an 8 string

Hey guys, i know this is quite bloggy.. but i just need to vent out.
So Monday, yesterday, was my birthday, and about 2 months ago, i ordered an RG 2228, i picked it up yesterday.

I tell you, the thing is fantastic, i have an image when i just had taken it out of its case in the music shop, i look completely esctatic.
The neck is what you call a wizard neck, even Urist McStubbyfingers could reach that F string, get chuggaluggin!

The reason i bought this guitar was not to do lame meshuggah ripoffs or play ultra br00000741, i just like the extra range and the sounds i can get from it, i play bass anyway.

More to come, suddenly the bed attacked me.

I think maybe he was too happy about it to be contained in the Happy Thread? And maybe he wanted to discuss 8 strings? Either way, this thread is going to die away soon enough, as there's nothing to discuss, so it doesn't really matter.

Also, congrats, DrPoo. Hope you enjoy it!

Long live the 8 string thread!... Not that I know anything about them. I think my dad's got an archaic one sitting in the basement somewhere. Oh no, that's a 12 string.

When I read that last part, I imagined him sitting on the edge of his bed on his PC, and the mattress rising up and repeatedly slapping him with its corners.

I like this thread for this reason.
