What about this situtation? Surrounded by campfires in all directions, without the utility to fast travel from the river being near. Our little adventurer has no other choices but to pray.

Testing the possibilities of enclosing one's self from evil critters has never been so much fun with campfires.

It should be noted that campfires are not actually impassible...
You can charge or dodge onto one if you have a sparring partner, then walk off.

If only buzzards would notice you dying of thirst and hunger and come visit, then campfire circles wouldn't be as much of a problem.

I just found out it turns into ash after a day, but that didn't occur in the previous version when I blocked off a lair's entrance with it. That makes me wonder if it was a bug or not.

I was asking why one would know that the Campfires would protect them due to being solid; Solid things also happening to be impassable things.
Why one would neglect that the Bogeymen would still come, thus causing the crux of this situation.
And lastly, I didnt mean it in a critical way. I just cant help but notice how it was treated as completely normal to surround oneself with campfires.

Pick up rocks and pelter those things to death.
