Huh. I kind of came in halfway through that conversation, I didn't even see him interrupt the NPC. I should really read back through the logs before I start jumping at offers like that. :-\

Of course, you said yourself that he had terrible timing. Just because he sounded extremely suspicious doesn't mean he was doing anything shady. Maybe he was just stumbling over his own words?

Okay, you people have had a week to haul all your wood to where it needs to go. Hopefully no more shipments come in this week.

T-minus 18 hours 19 minutes.

Talov here.

Not to be rude, but just wait a cotton-pickin' minute. In my defense, all I said was that I'm looking for a friend and wanted to check for information at the local cantina. I never lied in any way. I said my friend is missing and the cantina is a good place to start looking for information. The group is for safety's sake. A large group is much less likely to be harassed than one guy by himself.

That being said, I understand your caution. Definitely can't fault you for playing your character right. But before you start writing me off as an agent for the Empire, which would be unliekly to have a Kel Dor as one of their agents (remember, they HATE non-humans), you could always try a sense motive check to see if I'm deceiving you.

We can continue in a few hours though. Seven until the game starts by my count. Nice meeting you, can't wait to get started. Smiley face.

Sorry. My first act on a strange planet I've never been to is not going to be to go busting up some bar on behalf of a total stranger who can't get his story straight promising us war booty.

Possibly, but I think everyone other than me is playing their cards pretty close to their vests. Ironically, the spy is the only one completely open about what they're doing... XD

I'm undecided how unfortunate that is. It's an obvious sort of thing to keep secret, but I see how it might be inconvenient to have your reveal happen by calling in a platoon of stormtroopers to arrest the party.

There's not much to talk about.

I suppose Alasi could continue to attempt to get you all to sympathize with the rebellion. That's working, right? Oh wait, nope! Everyone's just interested in making money.

In truth, I'm caught on the bad end-powerless in the party, and on the wrong side of the law.

I mean, SC is lawful evil or close enough, and can kill my character (or all our characters) any time he likes. He can just drop a star destroyer or an AT-ST on me. Reese can fly off in his ship without me, and I'd have to leave the game.

In conclusion, I'm starting to think I chose the wrong character for the game. Our 'rebel' party is mostly neutral, which is great for everyone except me who has an actual heroic goal. I'll probably get frustrated enough to switch chars soon, whatever. :P
