@Tar: Ah, the book says the 1st level is just the part where your character becomes a hero. You could be coming out of retirement, and still be level 1. :P

Problem still happens to be featswise though :P

Also, we're going to obtain a ship legally or are we just going to steal one? :P

We don't steal, we appropriate in the name of a good cause...  ;)

Also, email on it's way Urist. I've included both chars, and their info.

If you need to ask me something, just do it in the thread or in forum PM. My messagebox has like 4500 spam emails in it since I don't use it all that often, I might miss any messages you send me. :X

Hello everyone. Checking in as an alternate in case a player spot becomes available. Already sent a message to Urist.

I have a couple character background ideas, but I'd prefer to fill a role that isn't being taken by anyone. If you need a tech, or a pilot, or diplomat, or whatever...let me know.

Writing potential character backgrounds now.

Man, I go to sleep for a few hours and the damn thread explodes!

Working on a character now. I'm seeing some skills in the PDF that aren't on that Myth Weavers character sheet. Are you sure that's the right one, Dwarmin?

D happened to use the Saga edition character sheet in the link. You'll want the standard sheet.

Just as a note, the faction you guys start with doesn't necessarily mean the whole game will go that way, nor is it a statement on whether your character is good or evil.  The most likely beginning is Neutral (or Rebellion if everyone strongly wants to go that way), and characters' sympathies and the events that occur around them can draw them to a given side over time.

During play, your characters' actions can influence how things go, and both sides have good and evil people in them.  Not every Imperial is a heartless monster (more than a few Alliance heroes started out as Imperial officers who defected over the years), and not every rebel soldier will be a paragon of virtue, and some can even switch sides and join the Empire.  Even Vader wasn't above hiring alien bounty hunters, so not even race is a hard and fast rule about what possibilities are off limits.  Don't worry too much about your initial choice dictating your alignment or the future of your character, just use it as a starting point.

EDIT: Almost forgot...

General plan was to have him being a veteran of the clone wars, then ditching the army once the emperor unveiled his new clones and/or the kaminoan rebellion.

Haven't decided on the service branch yet though.

No problems here; a lot of clone troopers became dissatisfied with the decision to allow non-Fett clones and non-clone recruits to join the Stormtroopers after the Clone Wars, and with no rules I could find that dictate that a clone dies earlier or the like than normal, you're basically a human that reached adulthood at a MUCH younger chronological age.  Of course, if the game goes Imperial you could easily be a rebel spy, or maybe have a change of heart, or who knows what.  In any case, there's no issue with being a former clone trooper.

Sweet. Finishing up my sheet now, just wondering if starting with some stolen equipment is alright?

@Tar: Did any of those trooper pics I sent you turn out to be what you wanted?

That depends; if you deduct the value of the equipment from your starting cost, then yes (though it would be "stolen" in name only).

If it's extra from what you purchased with your starting credits, PM me to ask (so nobody will know what you have that's stolen) and we'll try to work something out so you can have it.
