I'm really interested in seeing an RPG of this sort.

I cannot use any of the above programs/devices, but still, interested in watching one. Reading the logs of whatever happened. (Like Trail's End).

@Tiruin: Not even maptools? My computer really sucks, but that still runs more or less fine. It's a free download, no hardware required at all.

It's pretty much a chat program/online game board for role playing games.

It's that, I'm using a personal laptop. And the internet connection is very bad, continuous disconnection at the best of times...

So, I guess not.  :-\ This got me, and I do not wish my absence to trouble others. Especially when it reaches the climax of the story (I swear the internet is watching my progress...and loving to cut it off at the right time.)

Though it was real fun reading everything. Can't wait to see how (or partly) Urist McA. makes this! Including the characters!

No...I haven't run a RTD or played in one before.

Strangely, this did pop into my mind. This was discussed in detail in the RTD Roller's Block.

Gatleos did it.

The sessions would start at 8am for me, which could turn in to a problem if I start up uni classes again while it's still going on... but what the hell. I'll join. It looks like with my participation we just barely have enough party members, so it's a choice between potentially holding everyone up because of my odd time zone placement, or the game never getting off the ground.

I've got Maptools, but I don't have the equipment to use Teamspeak. And I'll need that PDF.

Any chance I could play as a renegade clone or something like that though?

Hrm... About that PDF, what site would it be hosted on? I can't really download stuff from my internet connection, and the local library has a rather overzealous web filter.
I should still have that Star Wars movie marathon, though, whether I can play or not! :)

Well, that depends on what you have in mind specifically; I'll be as accommodating as possible.

I'll be updating the OP later tonight to reflect currently in players (including everyone who's tentatively in as long as they get a .pdf), and will be communicating with everyone through PMs and emails to get started on character creation.  There are some small house rules I'll notify you of when I send out the messages, and if you have any further questions or clarifications please ask.

OK, definitely in since I haven't got a chance to play with Taricus live before. :D I, too, need a PDF, but if it's very similar to D&D 3.5 I could probably wing it with just the character creation rules and skill/feat descriptions I would need. Is there a wiki out there like the one for D&D?

You really can wing it, though. :P

I mean, there's some different rules for gunfighting, you can actually wear less or no armor as you level, and death is a lot more final and realistic with your damage threshold/condition modifier, but other than that, remarkably similar to D&d.

General plan was to have him being a veteran of the clone wars, then ditching the army once the emperor unveiled his new clones and/or the kaminoan rebellion.

Haven't decided on the service branch yet though.
