This is hysterical. I can't stop laughing while looking at this mess of a fortress... xD
But you exaggerated with the flooding of the forges. The forges themselves are still fine. It's just some corridors around them who are flooded. How and why that happened I don't get, but I won't indulge.

Chilton, I draw my hat to you, if you somehow manage to survive that and get the fort kind of working again.

Oh god.
CAN'T WE JUST DIE? WHY DO WE SUFFER?

I request an update Chilton, if possible (I'm scared). Even if we are in slowpoke territory.

@Felcis- They got flooded with water...

@Chillton- You gotta be pretty careful if you're gonna survive. Took me three tries to get through the year.... and I feel that I still have to emphasise the importance of putting back the walls after removing them.

Best fort ever.

It may be a day or two. I cant rush this. I have a million ideas, but i also have a million ideas about how wrong they could go. The thing is though, we dont seem to have anyone with a pick in the areas i want to go to work in. So !!SCIENCE!! and !!SENSELESSDANGER!! may be needed to try and get us through :P

No, they are fine from what I can see. I mean the real "Deep Forge" btw., the one with the anvil and stuff. Not those old Glassforges that noone used in ages anyway.

@Chilton: Okay, so should we start working on the funeral speech already? :P

My goodness. I thought Markedangels would have met its destiny already, but it keeps crawling about like those poor smoked zombies on the surface, bereft of limbs, full of bolts and arrows, torn up and absolutely splattered. Then it pushes you in the head, breaking the brain. You have been struck down.

Except our heads are harder than that.  :)

These dwarfs are like cockroaches... they've been around since the dinosaurs and never died.  :o

Chilton-
"I am going to note right now, that this is going to be may be somewhat difficult. I have made this situation to force You to do certain things in ways one wouldnt in a, how shall We say, more Normal Fort.
Of course, it isnt as hard as it could be. But on a scale of 1-10, 10 being Suicide, I estimate this SHOULD be a 7. Or something. If it isnt, Ill damn well make it a 7.
Lastly, be the Awesome Community You already are."

I'd say that part of the op is a bit outdated by now.... :P
(too lazy to edit a proper quoting ::))
