Okay, this may seem like a really obvious request, but hear me out.  I cannot pin down my eye color.  Depending on where and when I check, they seem to change colors.  Officially (on my driver's license), they're blue, but I've seen my eyes as grey, blue, and green.  I've asked a few people, and everyone I ask has a different answer.  To give an example, when I was trying to figure out my eye color for my license, I asked my mom to help.  In the kitchen, she said they were blue.  When she went with me to my dad's office to get a second opinion, both of them said they looked more grey than blue.  We went out into the hall, and they looked blue again.  Further complicating the problem, I have central heterochromia, so my eyes are different colors in the center (pretty sure it's hazel, but I'm not sure about that either).  Does anyone else have this problem, and know how/if I can definitely find out my eye color?

I get this too, they change between amber, brown and greenish depending on how dilated my pupils are (ie how much light there is). I guess the official colour is the one you get in broad daylight but no direct sun in your eyes.

Me too. Mine are a very pale blue with flecks of rust. I find my clothing changes their apparent colour also.

Well i can't quite figure out whether mine are blue or grey, since they're not clearly of either color, so i settle for calling them bluish grey. Which, funnily enough, turns out to be a very good approximation if searched on Wikipedia, so now i can say that i have glaucous eyes.

I also have difficulty pinning down my eye color. I am pretty sure that it is blue, or some variant of blue like turquoise, but what that is seems to fluctuate at random.

Just about everyone in my immediate family has the same problem. Goddamn eyes can't make up their mind.

Not me, though. I have the single most gorgeous deep brown eyes you could ever hope to see.
