This is my first time trading, so I don't know if I am doing it right. I keep on getting this "I wish I could take so much, but my animals..." I checked the weight, 10000 lbs light and checked the value, 50% profit like the wiki said. I am also numerically getting more items back from him, and I also believe that all of the bars that I am getting from him should have more volume than the rock mechanism I am giving back. What am I doing wrong here?

Check the "Weight allowed" if it is red then he is carrying too much.

Anyhow if you want a tip to carry a TON more weight...

Take his "Ore" off his hands... they cost 3 and weigh a TON.

Everything seems like it should work. The weight is fine, and he's getting a good deal. I don't understand why this is happening though.

I am starting to wonder if this is a bug. I did an exhaustive search and found someone had this same question go unanswered. Has anyone had this kind of response from a merchant before?

Maybe not all his animals/wagons got to the trade depot?  Weird things happen if one of them gets hurt.
