EDIT: solution found. He wanted an ordinary glass furnace. Apparently he's scared of magma.

I had a dwarf get a fey mood just now, and instead of nabbing a workshop and making a claystone amulet with an image of claystone in claystone, he's sitting in the middle of the booze room, not moving. Here's his stats:

Novice Glassmaker
Novice Stone Crafter
Novice Leatherworker

And here's the workshops and furnaces that I do not have:

Quern
Millstone

In particular, I do have  a magma smelter, magma forge, and magma glass furnaces. I also have a surfeit of craftsdwarf shops and a leatherworking shop (between the dogs and the cats, I'm making bone bolts and leather bags pretty much nonstop). So what does he want? Here is the savefile (Mac, though they should be cross-compatible, right?) if it helps any.

Glass furnace.  

There's currently a bug where moody glassmakers choose standard glass furnaces over magma-powered ones.

EDIT: and the result:

This is a Turquoise weapon rack. All craftsdwarfship is of the highest quality. It is encrusted with Turquoise, decorated with cave spider silk and turtle shell and encircled with bands of Nickel and Claystone. This object menaces with spikes of Nickel. On the item is an image of a square in cave spider silk.

What this needed a glassmaker's workshop for, I have no idea...but I guess now I can start churning out spiked glass balls for my traps.

Maybe furniture made out of gems counts as a glass object?
