Burning hydrogen produces water, so no. You will just have a net consumption of energy (burning it will liberate less (EDIT: useful) energy than it took to free it from water). Hydrogen's useful as an energy storage mechanism, though, if you can compress it efficiently.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Reverse photosynthesis seems to imply that you also do photosynthesis. As far as I know, I - we - don't have any photosystems, no chlorophyll, none of the baggage that comes with photosynthesis...

I think you might be using sarcasm mode, but I'm throwing this out here just in case ;P Also better edit my first post...

I was under the impression Reverse photosynthesis implied that you do photosynthesis in the reverse order.
6 CO2(g) + 6 H2O(l) + photons → C6H12O6(aq) + 6 O2(g)
carbon dioxide + water + light   → glucose + oxygen                         -this is the formula for photosynthesis,

so I figured reverse would be
glucose + oxygen → carbon dioxide + water + light

and good job detecting that sarcasm   ;D

The reverse of photosynthesis is respiration, or combustion, depending on where and how it happens.

At the end of Terminator: Salvation, John Connor gets stabbed through the heart. About one-to-three hours later they realise he needs a replacement heart and transplant it from the infiltrator.
So the question is: Why isn't John Connor one-to-three hours dead by the time they manage to diagnose him with 'stabbed in the heart'?

If you cut a whole in the back of the wardrobe to Narnia, where does the hole lead to?

What would happen if SCP-096 and SCP-173 were put in the same room?

Where did all this spaghetti come from and why is it so delicious?

Why do pickup trucks have tail pipes pointing off to the side, while every other car has it pointing to the back?

Maybe it's because you have to open the tailgate and load/unload goods...?

What would happen if SCP-096 and SCP-173 were put in the same room?
096 would win if 173 sees its face, otherwise 173 would.

Yet hatchbacks and vans have their tailpipes pointing out the back, and they would probably experience the same problems.

Many pickup turcks have hefty rear suspensions for load carrying and often have a live rear axle. Having a pipe carrying hot toxic gases past heavy suspension gear likley to move is probably a bad idea.

Why is there a single orbital plane for the entire solar system, rather than a different one for each orbiting body? I expect the reason has something to do with the whole disk of rotating gas and dust that everything coalesced out of, but why did that compress into a disk instead of clumping randomly would be the next question.
