The Eternal Tomb : Forum game (Players needed) Turn 8

The Eternal Tomb of Treasure

In the middle of the Desert, far away from any civilized country, lies the The Eternal Tomb of Treasure. Inside it are many dangers, but he who manages to escape them can find a most valuable award, The Legendary Diamond eye of Twotutolang. This legendary diamond is rumoured to be 20 cm across, and is worth millions of dollars. So you and your team set out into the desert, trying to keep ahead of the other three teams, and risking much of your supplies. After a long Journey during which you lost all your pack animals and most of your supplies, you finally found the Legendary Tomb. Every team reached the tomb at more or less the same time and so all set to work to open the doors.

When the last of the seals was broken, all hell broke lose. And sandstorm quickly rose and encircled the Tomb and howling of the Wind hurt your ears. Then a Voice spoke. It was so loud that you didn't need your ears to hear it, as it resounded in the inside of your skull and so the voice spook:

Again Mortals, you come to disturb my rest. Well since I'm rather bored being locked up inside a tomb like this, I'll give you a chance. I won't intervene when you enter the tomb, and you will have a fair chance of obtaining The legendary eye of Twotutolang, but only one of you may leave. The most cunning between you will be granted gratitude, and can safely return towards your so-called civilized world. The other will remain in my service. The wind howls once again and you have to close your eyes or risk being blinded by the sand. When you open your eyes your are inside the Tomb, and the gates have been resealed behind you. The rest of your team seems to be gone, though you can hear them if you concentrate, they seem to be alive and well.

What's this?
This is a simple teambased exploration game. 4 teams made up from an unkown amount of persons explore a ancient tomb in search of an ancient artefact. Only one person of each team will be in the game at all time. Every time someone dies another person may come in from the waitlist. Dead people may come back from the waitlist though and they retain all their skills.

What do I need to do to win?

The game will end when the diamond is recovered. The person with the most money on the team with the most money will win.

How will the game be played?

For each of the four teams only one person will be in play the whole time. The living person can explore 1 tile a turn and can travel through 3 already explored tiles each turn. He can also loot and fight enemies.  The other members of his team can give advice or buy supplies for him, which will be immediatly dropped at his feet. These items will be paid for by the ghosts themselves. The player can only buy things at the shop.

Current player actions must be bolded and team colored. Actions from non-playing teammembers need to be bolded and either have a glow effect or a lighter colour. Always state the name of your character in your post.

Harrack rubs his hands together, his mouth actually watering just thinking about the jewels that await him.

Yes. Can't let you have an advantage, do I.
Also fun fact, while the Spawn doesn't have a shop, you can get items with you when you spawn(Have to pay for them though).

I'm interested in what else comes in the shop, though starting with some first aid is probably wise.

Honestly, I reserved just so I could get my favorite color.

In. CHaracter added. Game starts as soon as we get a brown player and i get enough free time. Which should be easy since this isn't a very complicated game.

@Ebbor: I'd like to say, getting another person right now is unlikely. :P

If we don't get another person soon, can we just start anyway? If the game goes on long enough, we might attract more interest.

Yeah, I'll start it soon. The game was intended to run with at least 8 persons though, to make use of all the mechanics.

And so you entered the Eternal Tomb.

Turn 0

Team Red

You turn away from the now closed and sealed entrance and find that you have arrived at some kind of crossing. Four massive pilars hold up the roof, and the scarce light is provided by torches hung at the ceiling, about 10 meters above you. The room is sparcely decorated with several engravings. The roads here go to The North, the South and The East(You're coming from the West). Sadly a rather large snake is lying in the middle of it all. It's about 1.5 meter long, and you can't run past it without coming in it's range.( That doesn't mean you can't try to run past it)

Team Blue

The corridor descends quickly until it makes a sudden turn to the Left. The corridor is rather low, and torches are hanging on the rough wall. Unfortunately a black snake is hanging from one of them. From it's size, less than half a meter, you can determine it'll probably be poisonous.

Team Green

The corridor just continues in a straight line towards the East. It's rather boring, with rough walls and torches provided a little bit of light every 10 meter.

Team Brown

You don't excist yet, but if you did you would be standing on a crossing. You can continue to the West or to the South.

Examine one of the engravings and try to keep my distance from the snake. Once finished with the engraving head North.
