Well, I started it earlier, but I haven't enough time on it to know. I just tried to get back on and the server was busy.

This thread is very disturbing.

http://forum.ea.com/eaforum/posts/list/9358082.page

Posted too soon.

A guy from Maxis came along and posted:
Commercial isn't dependent on Industry. Industry is dependent on Commercial. We've talked about it before: we had to break the double RCI loop somewhere, or the feedback went crazy.

If you don't have industrial or a specialization, you won't have enough jobs. Or you'll have so much commercial that they won't get enough shoppers and will leave.

10K is a pretty small city. You won't see that effect until you get larger.

Yeah reading it was the impression I got, that commercial provides freight capacity but doesn't need it fulfilled, so commercial just supports industry.

Alright my 220k town is doomed to traffic... endless loop on multiple car that goes from A to B by going C,D,E first to go back to A before heading to C and finaly B.... I dont know who is the monkey behind traffic AI... but he need a slap....

Also i have 3 train station for passager, 3 city bus decked out, 3 for regional citys, maxed out tramways...... yet it seem they do nothing but burn up my money like gas in hell..... Also because of that, i have one mega police thing with maxed out patrol car, 3 chopper, 2 prevention car, and 2 investigator yet my city crime is rising like no tomorow and im not even a tourism city.

I also had to destroy half my residential building because student didnt want to leave their home to go to a school right next their door thus leading to lower education=more crime.

I have a highschool decked out, a university decked out and still have ppl who dont go to school.

Another side effect of the frigging traffic... ppl are soo wise about situation awareness that they prefer taking worst possible oute to leave town thus wasting time in traffic instead of working and bringing money wich in turn mean they get homeless because they dont have enough money to pay a frigging 5% tax.

Its just the scratch, should i continue? because i really dont feel happy about the current state of the game. I know im not the best in this game but for god sake its not because they dont have a  choice to only use cars...

Minecraft UI is very simple. There's only so many ways you can implement "simple" without copying something. We also gonna complain that it uses WASD?

Have you tried public transport?
I've hard that buses can alleviate a lot of traffic problems.

3 decked out tramway ( max amount of tramway the game allow, 3 decked out city bus, and 2 regional bus with 3 train, cannot be more public transport than that unless they get teleportation in the game. Btw already in the previous post.

All those are maximum capacity stations, wich is i think over 50 city bus,m 30 regional bus, countless tramways, and 3 train station with stops covering all service everywhere in town.

Here is a fail:

Oops, I think EA messed up on that one.
amusing if real. :)

Yeah, if real, that is the question. I just found it amusing myself. Indeed a screwup if it was real.

Well, I just hopped on facebook, and SimCity UK is an unofficial Fansite, so...

Fun facts: Did you know that you can log on to the servers, start playing and then disconnect your internet and continue to play?
Did you know that this contradicts EA's statement they made about the server running some of the simulation?
Did you know that this game was pirated just one day after the release? So much for not being able to pirate this piece of software!

I find it hillarious that EA practically lied through their teeth.

Well, my spiral city is alleviating traffic. But I can't get the population to pop. Been stuck around 25,000 for a very long while. I wonder if population growth is somehow related to traffic. That would be strange.

And I can't get a screenshot to work on this computer. It takes a screenshot of the window behind the game. I'll try on another computer tomorrow.

No it wasnt these are scams believe me. I tried really hard yesterday to find one that was cracked and nope no main release group made a single crack yet. All those you see are scams. Hey did you know on youtube there is 100% working legit keygen to install the game?

PS: If you just believed what i just said thats why you believe it was cracked, they are SCAMS.

I had tested the spiral city out as well, it doesn't work since the buildings cannot expand, spiral grid city works but cars are also prone to turning around like crazy
