Well it seems they are going to implement curvy roads.

At least they didn't went the way of cities XL and kept the zoning system.

Cities XL has zoning.  You can toggle between zoning and individual placement.

Huh, seems internet fora aren't the best places to get your information.

Didn't buy it because of the rather low criticscores. Seems like it was bugridden and unfinished. ( Also, expensive)

Ah, but what isn't released bugridden and unfinished these days?  I heard the same stuff about Sim City 4, although I didn't end up buying it until years after it was released, maybe most of the problems were solved by then.

How horrifying will the DRM be?

Need to be always online online to play? Activation servers overloaded at launch? Install count limit?

How much DLC will there be, and how much will it cost overpriced will it be?

Personally although I'd like another Sim City, I'd be much more thrilled if they announced a sequel to this

and this

and implemented it with SC5.

Unless of course they don't fit properly and your feet blister up like bubble wrap.
Oh ho ho, but don't try to return the shoes, because they won't take them back once you've worn them.
Especially if that fat pig Tony is at the desk.

Even better. How about they make a GTA style game? Play in your own cities! Fight crime or be the problem! Cause a civil war and blow up your own train stations!

On-Topic: I'm not sure if I should be excited or depressed about what might happen to make it bad.

I don't recognize the helicopter game but I reckon yer second one there is Interstate 76.

God damn I would buy a modern sequel to that. Interstate 82 wasn't as awesome.

Ummmm.... those screenshots look fake.

I live the simcity games and hope this one is released mostly bug free. I don't care about games that run past their release dates, I just want to be able to play them reliably from day one. I also hate DLC and hope that this isn't one of those games released with minimal features and DLC designed to give me a complete game paid for one hard earned $1 (or 5) at a time.

Somehow, that fills me more with dread than anticipation.  It's like being told that someone's exhuming your favorite grandparent and they're going to try to make her into a cyborg stripper.

Brofist.  As total crap as that game was when you got under the hood, I spent so damn much time playing it as a kid.  I got Sim City 2000 when I was six, and it was basically the only PC game I had for a couple years, then got Sim Copter.  I still get a little thrill out of wandering around in my own city.  Who knows, maybe they'll finally do the obvious, and make it an included game-mode, like possession in Dungeon Keeper.
