Okay, that's three victories for those horsemen. What level are they, and can I turn them into a legendary fighting force yet?

If you select the unit, you can see their level. They're at level 3 right now. I think being at level 3 gives +1att/+1def/+4HP.

Horsemen also get Charge 1 at level 3. I'm not sure what Lemon10 was expecting those spearmen to do by themselves.

Uh, actually, they shouldn't be at 13 HP. I think it's adding 4 HP to them every time the game is loaded, since they're level 3. Imagine them to be at 9 HP. Actually, make it 7, to account for last turn's bug healing. (They wouldn't have lost the battle if their HP value had been correct.)

That's odd, why would it... ooooooh. Right. I think it was adding 2 HP every time the game was loaded while they were at level 2, and four when it was loaded with them at level 3.

Yup, my spearmen got massacared.
-turn cut out to avoid the wrong one being potentially used-
How can I combine two units in the same square into one army?
And does having more then one unit in a army make a difference to their overall combat value?
EDIT: If its possible to combine units into one army, and it has a combat advantage, could you not run my turn nirur?

If they're in the same square, click on the text that says what armies there are. Then choo an army and unit, then move unit. It should ask what army you wish to move it to. Then you will also have a ghost army that has nothing in it.

Thanks, I wondered what that button actually did.
Spoiler: revised 4-18 (click to show/hide)

EDIT: Modified my turn (again) to avoid a very probably bad situation.

Having your units in the same army doesn't directly give them any bonuses, but it means they'll move together. If you want multiple units to attack at once, you need to put them in the same army. Otherwise, they'll attack one at a time, and you really don't want that.

So yes, it does give a benefit.

Do two armies defend the square they're in together?

Also, are movements 'simultaneous' or sequetial (simultaneous in quotes because unless you wrote it multithreaded, it's sequential, but I'm just nitpicking)?

I don't know about the first question, but I think movements are sequential, with fast armies moving first, and disputes resolved with an initiative roll. Whoever wins the roll gets the terrain defensiveness bonus.
